We stopped there this weekend. We have been there several times and ever time it is worth it. They have hundreds of unusual dips and jellies and assorted thing. The best thing is that they have about 50 of them set up for tasting. I hate buying some new product and then getting home and realizing I don't like it.... More

Fly Creek is on the Cooperstown Beverage Trail for the hard cider. But this gem has so much more! We made the mistake of eating breakfast and then going here to "kill the time" with the kids before our scheduled activity. We should not have eaten first! They have a "counter service" type cafe, ice cream shop, candy shop, baked... More

This a good place to go near Cooperstown but the only real things to see is the film of apple pressing and the old apple press upstairs. The rest of the store is filled with tasting samples of the various food items they have for sale. You can taste cider, dips, sauces etc. In a side room, adults get to... More

Been there several times to taste different items. A bit on the expensive side for some items, unique items as well. Wish the bathrooms weren't so far from the buildings and it was a bit more handicap accessible.

We come here as a nice Sunday ride. It can get overbearing with people in the fall. However, if you come in the fall, you can witness cider-making as it was done 100 years ago. Water power drives a hydraulic press, and squeezes the pure juice from sliced apples. Kids will be impressed. There is a small dammed lake with... More

The Fly Creek Cider Mill is a fun diversion during a trip to the Cooperstown area. The place is set up for customers to taste many of the items on sale and the tasting is highly encouraged! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The cider beer and wine were nothing fascinating. However, they had plenty of sampling of dips, spreads and various other items. There were chickens/ducks out back and a coin food machine if you wanted to feed them. The staff was very friendly. I say if you need something to do for an hour then stop by here. Otherwise, its like... More

Stopped in as they are part of the beverage trail. It's quite a place - although mainly a general store. The cider press was interesting. Would love to come in the fall to see it actually run (we saw the video). If you are looking for high quality canned goods, jellies, etc - this is the place.

What a great stop this was ! Surrounded by Orchards with a Stream running by it is the perfect setting. An educational area upstairs shows how the Cider is pressed and there is also machinery displayed. The store is loaded with preserves, fudge, sauces, dressings, etc, etc, with tastings available for many of them. Decisions, decisions ! There is, of... More

We stumbled upon the Fly Creek Cider Mill while killing time before another event. It was a very entertaining stop! The store sells a huge variety of country store type products, including cheese, jams, fudge, and all manner of wholesome treats. There's also a hard cider and wine tasting bar, and kitchen that makes all kinds of delicious creations. (apple... More
