Nice place to take the kids gather for a family BBQ and spend some quality family time. Nice staff and not packed and crowded like other NYC attractions.

Greeted at entrance by a very friendly staff member, other staff members throughout park greeted us with smiles. The grounds were clean and well kept, I noticed lots of improvements since my visit last year. The animals looked healthy and there were guides that answered questions even if we were not part of their group. Great day!

Very nice zoo easy to get to. They did a nice job upgrading the zoo. Had not been here in years, pleasantly surprised. Carousel, petting zoo. Will return soon..

You can go ahead and visit the Queens zoo if you are in the area and don't have transportation, but there isn't much to see.

I love this zoo. It is not huge but is really wonderful. There are two parts to it, North American Wildlife and a petting zoo. The North American Wildlife part in set up in a large circle and is only about a mile or so of walking, so it is not overwhelming for children. When your done with that, head... More

This is a nice place to bring very young children. The have a petting zoo also. There is a merry-go-round thats been there for a long time. Also, its not unusual to see a chicken or rooster walking around. Also a few step away is Flushing meadow park. Wait for mid spring into the summer and bring some comfortable shoes.... More

Small but nicely spread out facility, has a nice variety of animals and birds. Great for younger kids, as there is a petting zoo that they really enjoy. Membership is reasonable, if you live in the New York City area, and parking is easy, though there are a lot of steps from the parking lot to the zoo itself, if... More

This is a zoo focused primarily on North American animal life, and shows Puma, Mountain Lions, Andrean Bears, California Sea Lions, Prarie Dogs, Wolves, and many avian species such as Owls & Turkey. A lovely walk, this zoo is ideal for families with small children, with a section dedicated for petting areas (sheep, goats, donkeys, cows, alpaca) across the way... More

This is a cute zoo! I was in the Flushing - Meadows park out in Queens today and while visiting one of the other museums, I discovered the Queens Zoo just by Word Of Mouth. Unfortunately, it was Not listed on the Wikipedia, however, I did manage to learn that the Queens Borough has their very own zoo which contains... More
