Freshly made beer, strong on the hops as most microbrews. Busy bar scene. Hard to find - and not nearly enough parking obvious to find. Be creative and you will find the hidden lot.

This brewery has 12 offerings including a couple Kolsch and a grapefruit IPA. No Stouts or Porters which is understandable in summer. They offer three distinct seating areas. You can sit outside in a beer garden and play bocci ball, bags, or jenga. They serve reasonably priced food outside and the day we were there a band was playing. It... More

Great beer and chow. Barrels for chairs, casino chips for delicious beers. It's small and can get crowded at times inside. Outside seating conducive for gathering but lacks warmth in landscaping and design. It could be enhanced.

the secret was sweet potatoes. The rest of the BBQ was excellent too, service was outstanding. Wine was good too. But if you want to get this place on the phone? IF you want to connect with a human? Good luck. I don't know how anyone arranges anything at this place.

A really fun place to hang out for a while. They use chips that count for one fill of a tasting glass. The glasses are pretty small, but the chips aren't very expensive either. I like the system, it lets you have more variety in what you drink there. When the weather's nice they have an outdoor area with a... More

I was raised in Westchester, and I remember when Captain Lawrence first opened their doors at a smaller location in Pleasantville, New York. In 2011 they moved to their current, larger venue, and everything about it is perfect (except, perhaps, for the slightly out-of-the-way location). If you're a fan of craft brews, this place is a must. They have a... More

Several years ago, we had the Imperial IPA in New York City and since then we have ordered a case or two online so we were very excited to finally stop in and try some other beers and get a case. Sadly they had no cases of the Imperial IPA but we certainly enjoyed trying some of their other beers... More

I'd love to give this place 5 stars but they're getting a little carried away with their prices. They seem to always be increasing the cost of tap beer for growlers. I love supporting a local company, but when someone is hiking a growler back and forth week after week those customers should be rewarded with a heavily discounted rate.... More

Great craft brewery. The beers were quite delicious (and very affordable); my girlfriend and I personally liked the double IPA (Deceit) and the Freschester Pale. The culture of the place was laid back with lawn games and seating outside, a nice alternative music playlist, and a very friendly staff. Great place to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon!!

On Saturday stopped by Captain Lawrence Brewing Company for some sampling some of their beers! We had various types of beer brewed here. The Brewery had patrons outside playing Bocci while others were having pizza cooked on premises by Gleeson's of Peekskill. Plenty of room inside in order to sit and enjoy your beer. If interested they have tours of... More
