Stayed at the Inn at Holiday Valley for 3 nights. Great little Inn. Has private lockers next to each room for storing your equipment. Well thought out design in the room, hooks for hanging jackets/pants over a ceramic floor with a bench in the entry way for getting your boots on or off. Red-light in the bathroom for tired muscles.... More

I was at Holiday Valley Friday 1/24/15 and skied all day and had a great time. The place is just all around a fantastic place. I will recommend anyone going to lock up their skis. There was about 10 different people I spoke with around 9pm who probably did the same thing I did - ski, go eat for a... More

Ellicottville and Holiday Valley has the "out west" feeling without the plane ride or elevation to deal with to get there. The facility's numerous lodges and array of skiing terrain for all skier/boarder levels makes HV an ideal place for the extreme adventurer or the folks looking for the groomed corduroy experience.

We arrived just in time for night skiing and snagged a parking place next to the main chalet. We geared up and headed to the Mardi Gras chairlift only to find out it wasn't in operation. Now this is the main chair. We were surrounded by several other people who also were puzzled as to how to get to the... More

I learned to ski at holiday valley on a high school ski trip 15 years ago now, i loved it and got my entire family, along with several friends into it afterwards. Since, we have made an annual family trip and several yearly friend trips over the years and did not have a single complaint. Now we frequently ski out... More

Had a great day here. Go during the week if you can, stays really busy on weekends but very empty on weekdays. We had great snow, no lines. Multiple trails open. The lodges are gorgeous. Had not been here in 20+ years and amazed at the improvements. Many good looking places to stay nearby. Would highly recommend skiing here for... More

I've been sking this area most of my life and mostly Holiday Valley when home sking since I was young, I'm in my 50's so for a long time.....the staff and administration of the ski resort has not evolved in their philosophies or thinking through the years to grow with the establishment. We visited Holiday Valley in January 2015 when temperatures never went above 2 degrees. We chose the couples overnight package which included two week nights at the Inn at Holiday Valley, two lift tickets during our stay to ski, a wine and cheese basket in our room, and a $50 gift cert to the John Harvard's Brew house--which was fantastic. The... More

We really like skiing at Boyne but wanted to try something different. Skiing at Holiday Valley wasn't what we'd hoped. Our first time on the mountain was a Friday evening and the slopes didn't seem groomed at all. Saturday day-skiing was better. However, the grading of the runs didn't seem very consistent. Some blues were more challenging than the blacks.... More
