Holiday Valley is the nicest and larges ski resort in the area. No its not Colorado but in New York you won't find better and longer runs anywhere else. Holiday Valley offer nice easy and long runs for beginners and more challenging steep runs experts.

Took my kids to Holiday Valley and stayed at the Inn. Great value, easy to get to slopes. Everyone was so helpful. Took ski school and instructor was great! Got me off the bunny hill!! My daughter got hurt on a larger run and they were able to quickly find me. Ski patrol did great triage on her and other... More

The Sky High Ariel Park was amazing!!! It had different levels for all abilities. The team members were very helpful and encouraging. The Condo we stayed at was wonderful...Granite counters, breakfast bar, beautiful deck and lovely fireplace (for winter). The unit we rented had enough space for easily 12 people!!!

A group of 17 family members ranging in age 1yr to 85 yr. there is golf, zip lining, beautiful pool, hiking areas, and in winter, fabulous ski resort. We rented 3 different townhomes through Holiday Valley rental agency.

When we are on road trips, I try to find lodging off the beaten paths. On a recent trip through New York, I found Holiday Valley Resort. Mostly a ski and golf resort, the hotel offers comfortable, if not charmingly dated, rooms with nice balconies and lovely views. They do not offer room service, but we picked up a delicious... More

Weekend trip in a rental house. Glad to find this pool/recreation center to keep the kids busy. Two large pools, one with a decent slide and diving board. Also 1 kiddie pool. Nice bar, plenty of pool side seats...some in the shade! Poolside lunch is available...although the menu is odd with a beet salad, & mussels....but there is also a... More

During our stay in Ellicottville we golfed at Elkdale Country Club (pretty nice), and also at Holiday Valley's Double Black Diamond Golf course. As a couple who love to golf, we look forward to challenging golf courses that can accommodate a man's long hitting, but also has forgiving forward tee locations for me, to keep the game a bit more... It's all year round fun. In the winter you can ski/snowboard, go in the hot tub, and go on the mountain coaster. Meanwhile in the summer you can swim in the pool, go mountain biking, go on the mountain coaster, climb though the trees in the sky high adventure park and much more! It has a very nice atmosphere and... More

Played in a recent golf outing and very disappointed in the condition of the course. I know there has been a lot put into it, but isn't close to what it needs to be for a resort course. The service and food for the banquet was solid but couldn't overcome the deficit the golf created.
