Beautiful beach, however the parking is impossible. You need a permit from the town to park at beach. Take a drive to Montauk which is about 30 minute drive and beaches are beautiful and plenty of free parking.

It's a beautiful sandy beach with facilities for a comfortable day at the beach. Be aware that a beach permit is required to park ~ non-residents can purchase a limited amount of permits which go on sale early February. 2015 they were $375. for the season. I believe that a VERY limited amount of day passes may be sold. Suggest... More

Yes, I actually had some extremely relaxing time just taking a long nap at the beach. The sound of the waves was such that I couldn't help it. Give it a try after some really good swimming and a stroll by the beach.

So restful and relaxing and the beach is of our favorites. Keep clean and so quiet for my early morning walk with my lovely wife. Feels so private but with public services. The lifeguards are friendly and always a wonderful time

Parking permits are not needed after September 30th. Bathrooms and snack bar are closed. Very deserted and beautiful. If you walk to the left, you'll see beach houses but if you walk to the right, the dune blocks them. Several benches on which to sit to contemplate the surf.

This rated #1 beach is the best of 5 ocean beaches in East Hampton Village. Here you have a private pavillion beach club experience at a public beach. From managers and office staff to beach boys and lifeguards you see a finely tuned machine that evolves to meet the needs of beachgoers. The Chowder Bowl's menu boasts lobster rolls, fruit... More

Main Beach in EH. We visit here daily with our morning coffee and a walk on the beach. The beach is mostly clean and pet friendly part time.

Apparently when people go to the beach its important that they can eat all day long and this is something that you can do if you visit Main Beach because of the food pavilion. You can also rub elbows with the huge crowds that propagate here if that's your thing. The crowds have gotten even worse since the free shuttles... More
