This is a very special place. Beautiful collection of exquisite Leiber bags and bright colorful modern paintings. Learned fascinating facts about Judith and her husband from the knowledgeable curators. Great experience!

All on display reveals the love between these two artists. One ,famous for the extravagant hand bags of high quality and whimsy, and the other ,of equal measure ,with an intense expression on canvas. Their joint efforts in collecting also delight.

If you never heard of Judith Lieber you're in for a lovely surprise and if you know of her and her special specialties, you're still in for a lovely surprise to find this wow collection of her famous evening purses all in this wonderful building as well. I've been to the Lieber Collection about four times. The first time it was to see the garden as well as the Building. I was less interested in the collection of handbags. Once I began looking ,it became mesmerizing. There were purses that were designed for people the likes of Jackie O. There were two floors of displays. Later, when... More

If you have a spare hour, make sure to stop by this delightful "museum" of Judith Leiber's purses. She's delighted us for years with her whimsical takes on how purses should look in the evening. We "ooooed and ahhhhed" and each of us walked out dreaming of owning our own Judith Leiber work of art.

A friend told us of this collection so we hunted for it and it was definitely worth a visit and worth the detour off the main roads. What woman would not want to see such a fantastic collection of handbags - they were all works of art! The garden also looked fabulous and worth a good look around but it... More
