Paid a visit on a Friday afternoon in December. Not open, but a nice young lady let us peruse the grounds and we got a good look into the barn. What a find !! I've past this place at least a dozen times never setting foot on the grounds. This place is meaningful. I'm no art enthusiast. But for some... More

Thank you for stopping by! You're welcome to visit the grounds any time, even when the museum is closed. We look forward to giving you the full tour when we re-open in the spring. More

I brought my 2nd grand daughter for their children's tour and art program. My first visit was just adults. It was interesting but not nearly as much fun as seeing the home, grounds, studio and process with my children. We learned about Lee and Jackson and then we dripped our very own creations. I recommend trying to be Pollack. The... More

Introduction to the lives of Pollack and Krasner. By pre-paid appointment only, visitors get a guided tour of their house and art studio. Great for art majors and those interested in these artists. The house is outside of East Hampton.

This is a great place to visit. Whether you are a art nut or not, the place is a great stop in the Hamptons with friends, family, or solo. His gravesite is not too far in which you can add a stone to the many on his tombstone. As for the Pollock studio, its really neat to step into the... More

I didn't get on a tour as they were full but I was free to walk around the grounds and enjoy the scenery. Lots of history here and well worth visiting if you love modern art.

This is a very special place for anyone interested in the history of modern art. Located on Accabonac Harbor, this old house was bought by artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner in 1945. Small exhibitions take place in the house. You can also visit the studio, first used by Pollock, and then by Krasner after his death in 1956.

If you can face the crawl through the Hamptons then Jackson Pollock's studio and house are well worth a visit. We had booked a tour for midday. We allowed ourselves three hours to get there from Oyster Bay, it took us an hour to crawl through Southampton, Bridgehampton and finally East Hampton. Finally we got to the turning and the... More

Two famous artists' home turned into a study center and museum. See original garage floor where Pollock did his large drip paintings. House is located several miles north of East Hampton Village in area called the Springs. It is lovely.

This is where the artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner lived and worked. You can see Pollock "drippings" on the floor of his studio lovingly protected so that you have to wear paper slippers (provided) to visit. There are often lectures and guided visits on Saturday mornings. A few art works are still hung in the house they lived in.

Even if art is not your thing, One of the more colorful artists had a home in The Hamptons. They painted, partied and lived in this charming home and studio. Definitely worth to trip to discover more about the life of Jackson Pollack and his wife.
