This is a very special place for anyone interested in the history of modern art. Located on Accabonac Harbor, this old house was bought by artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner in 1945. Small exhibitions take place in the house. You can also visit the studio, first used by Pollock, and then by Krasner after his death in 1956.

If you can face the crawl through the Hamptons then Jackson Pollock's studio and house are well worth a visit. We had booked a tour for midday. We allowed ourselves three hours to get there from Oyster Bay, it took us an hour to crawl through Southampton, Bridgehampton and finally East Hampton. Finally we got to the turning and the... More

Two famous artists' home turned into a study center and museum. See original garage floor where Pollock did his large drip paintings. House is located several miles north of East Hampton Village in area called the Springs. It is lovely.

This is where the artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner lived and worked. You can see Pollock "drippings" on the floor of his studio lovingly protected so that you have to wear paper slippers (provided) to visit. There are often lectures and guided visits on Saturday mornings. A few art works are still hung in the house they lived in.

Even if art is not your thing, One of the more colorful artists had a home in The Hamptons. They painted, partied and lived in this charming home and studio. Definitely worth to trip to discover more about the life of Jackson Pollack and his wife.

Very touched by the visit and the inspiring remarks of the docent. Recommend for all who would let art and the lives of artists inspire their lives.

We visited two summers ago, but we wanted to add our voice to the many positive reviews. As many here have stated, you can walk the studio floor and see where Pollock painted some of his most famous pieces. After visiting various museums to see his paintings, it was exciting to imagine that we could see and walk on the... More

Wonderful tour, very well worthwhile if in the area, you get to see the house and studio and there are great photos of Jackson and Lee at work and the floorboards constitute a genuine Pollock!

If you are in East Hampton, you must visit Jackson Pollock's house and studio! The setting is just beautiful - we saw some deer in his enormous front yard. You can walk right into his studio and all through his home, which is in the exact same condition as it was when his wife died. All the furniture and art... More

This special place is the former home of two great American artists. The home is filled with art and the belongings that they lived with while they created. The studio actually has the droppings of the Jackson Pollack paintings.
