My wife was so pleased when visiting the grounds recalling the scenes from the movie. This visit acutally was on our bucket list. Checked that box.

Went there with my Pre-K class. It was always a great field trip and Ruby, our guide, always had a hands on activity for the children.
If you're interested in Art, American & social history or Pop Culture this is a great site to take in when in the Hamptons area. The house & studio are available by scheduled tour appointments only. Set aside at least an hour. I would not recommend bringing young children.
This house is an interesting part of hisorty and definitely worth seeing. The staff is informative and friendly. Mr. Pollock was very lucky to have such a BEAUTIFUL back yard.

The Pollock-Krasner House was certainly a surprise. Situated on a scenic inlet from a larger bay, its tranquility is in strong counterpoint to the abstract art that was created there. Seeing Pollock's studio is a highlight for art lovers.
During the summer, there was a children's program that was offered on Saturday mornings before the museum opened to the general public. The tour was designed for children and their parents. At the end of the tour, each child and parent were able to create their own JPollock abstraction with real canvas and paint. Very cool!!!!

Lots of anecdotes and tales of their lives together and separately. Did this as a side trip when visiting East Hampton. The Studio is only 15 minutes from the center of...

Amazing opportunity to stand in Pollacks studio and see where he did his work. The tour guide was superb and the gift shop had a nice collection of books and other items.
Jackson Pollock has always been an artist that I liked. This tour included his house and his studio. You can actually walk on the studio floor with all the paint splatters - it took you back in history. The tour guide was very informative about the life and times of Jackson Pollack and his wife Lee Krasner. I was skeptical...
