I had low expectations about the tour at the Jackson Pollock-Krasner house, as I am not a fan of abstract art. I was truly educated by what I saw and heard. I am so glad I visited this historic site. My perspective was broadened and enriched!

If you are a true art lover a visit to the Pollack-Krasner house is a must see. You will visit Pollack's studio which is virtually untouched since his death. It's a very special place that is well worth a visit. Call ahead to check on hours.

I loved getting the chance to walk in the studio in which Jackson painted. To actually see the floor of the studio where he did his drip paintings See picture attached! It was wonderful to go back in time when the very influential artists of the 20th century lived in this East Hampton community. The view of the water from... More

This place was an unexpected treat. They have left it pretty much as it was when lived and worked in. The staff is very helpful and helped guide me to the nearby graveyard where many artists are buried. Worth the trip.

Of course seeing the actual paint-splattered studio floor of Jackson Pollock and gazing into the original Pollock/Lee Krazner home is amazing... The tour guide was interesting -- but the most fun was taking the art class... They say advertise this in local places "for kids," but it's a blast for adults as well... Just kick loose and splatter some paint... More

The studio is small and intimate for the guided tour of 12 or so to soak up the ambience of Pollock's world. One of opened tins of house paint and brushes of all sizes; a draughty work place shored up by printed masonite board that were discarded games sent by a brother; photographs and contemporary newspaper articles; quotes and most... My husband and I visited here on our recent visit to the Hamptons. We saw an ad for the Pollock-Krasner House and called up to make a reservation (you need to do this in the off-season). Nobody answered, so we left a message and heard back fairly quickly. When we arrived at the House we roamed around and checked out... More

I was lost in the history and spirit of this old site. The house and fishing barn (studio) were well preserved to reflect a strong spirit of the years that Pollock & Krasner lived and worked on this site. It was a significant time for art history and this facility is a "GEM" that must be preserved for years to... More
