We signed up for the wine, cheese and charcuterie pairing that Wiemer planned for the summer weekend. We were feted and pampered from the moment we arrived. We are well familiar with Wiemer wines and they never disappoint. The Chef was a fantastic host and graciously accommodated special requests. Truly a day, an experience to remember and cherish

This is what a winery should be - tasting room right in the winery, friendly people and fantastic wines. If you go make sure to visit this winery. Loved it. Super friendly and knwoledgeable staff.

If you are in the Finger Lakes and the wineries are on your agenda, be sure that Hermann J. Wiemer is at the top of your list. The tasting area is just lovely and Michael is most knowledgable and enjoyable. BTW, this winery has won Vineyard of the Year multiple years.

Spent a few minutes this afternoon at Hermann Weimer's tasting room. A pioneer of Reisling grape growing in the best Finger Lakes microclimates, Weimer's vinyards, and winemaker Fred Howarth are producing great wines. The single vineyard 2012 Magdalena Reisling is the best reisling I've tasted. A wave of balanced fruit and acidity wash over your tongue like a tidal wave.... More

We loved this winery. Michael walked us through the cheese and salami/ wine pairings, which were wonderful and delicious. We sat on the outdoor patio which is beautiful and more private than standing indoors. A very classy operation that we may visit again on a future visit to the area. We definitely preferred this winery over others we visited.

Beautiful building! No crackers between tastings. Paid for tastings, but didn't receive information about wines other than the pamphlet we were given. Our last winery of the day on this side of Seneca Lake. If you are going to employ someone who can't tell you about the wines in a tasting room, put them at the register.

This place is a must visit on the wine trail. The tasting area is first class and the wines are some of the best in the area. My family lives on Seneca Lake and we have been to many different wineries over the last few years. This one stands out for the quality of their product. You will not leave... More

A multi-year winner of "Vineyard of the Year," Weimer is clearly a premier vineyard on the Lake. tyhe dry Reislings are at the top of the their list (and also in that place in comparison to other Finger Lakes vineyards) with the semi-dry varieties not far behind. The Chardonnay is an igood entrant onto their menu. An interesting tasting room... More

We decided to stop here after hearing all of the positive reviews left by others. The winery itself is very scenic! They pay great attention to detail and you can see that upon one look of this place. The tasting room has these huge steel like tanks in the bank. It's completely different from any of the other wineries we... More
