You'll have to take a taxi (from San Sebastian, I think). Bolivar was Basque by heritage.

This a modest museum. On the walls are pictures and reproductions of engravings. I dn't think El Libertador ever came here. It's the Bolivar family house and his great-great-great (and then some!) grandfather lived here. The taxi ride was about 20 minutes, I seem to recall. You'll probably have the place to yourself as not many visitors drop by.
