We stayed here in late June 2014 for 4 nights. Our purpose for choosing this campground was convenience to NYC, but far enough out of the city we wouldn't have to drive the camper through. This was perfect for that purpose. We made reservations in January and were a little concerned as we didn't have to pay a deposit and... More

Nice river walk evocative of some of the New England ones. Rocks and some wild flowers added to the charm. Very nice sunset across the water.

The park is located near the Croton railroad station and borders the Hudson river. The views are magnificent and great all year round. It is a good walking place but there are a few isolated areas where one cannot be seen so not terribly safe in my opinion. During the "season" there are parking fees which I still find annoying... Great for seeing bald eagles-older and young ones-in winter; particularly in March, in their natural habitat.

We arrived here on 7/5/13 in our 40' RV, and stayed a few months. Not only is this park beautiful,(we were here Summer and Fall) but well maintained. What has made this stay so enjoyable is the staff. You couldn't ask for nicer people, who are there to help out in any way possible, to ensure your time here is... More

We were in the area and wanted to stop and get a nice view and some pictures by the water. I was shocked at the number of vehicles entering and leaving due to the folks camping, so many that they had someone directing traffic. The views from the park's waterfront were fine, but nothing spectacular, and not better than what... More

Nice for walking, but nothing extraordinary. Lots of open space for kids and pets. Also a nice view of the water.

This is truly a "best kept secret" in the RV community. Full hookups, great staff, clean beautiful park. And the metro north rail line runs to your front door, yet set back far enough from the park so as not to create a nuisance while camping here. There is nothing not to like here. Grocery store, café, etc just outside... More

We stayed with a 30 foot RV. Lovely scenic site. Very friendly and helpful staff when booking in. Gorgeous views over the Hudson River just a short walk away. Campsites clean and easily accessible. Swimming in lake when lifeguards on duty. Showers very clean. Good wi-fi if you park outside the campground office. Easy access to New york city via... More

After living in Westchester County for over a decade, decided to visit Croton Point Park for a long walk along the river in July. Croton Point Park is a beautiful gem. Spectacular views of the Hudson. Pic uploaded. From the southern point, you can see the Tappan Zee Bridge. Abundant picnic tables suitable for families and large groups. The walk... More
