Bought the combo ticket for this and the Corning Glass Museum. It is worth seeing with this combo but it is very lackluster. Not a whole lot but what is there is nice.

I guess I was expecting more than just artwork. What they have is very nice. I was just expecting more in the way of artifacts.

There are three floors and a nice souvenir gift shop. Everything is spacious and the quality of the pieces is very nice. Locals are treated to regular events here and the top floor has a balcony view of Corning. The location is great for Market Street viewing and you are only a few blocks away from the Museum of Glass.... More

My seven year and I have been visiting this museum for years. We always enjoy our time there. Whether we just stop in to look at one of their new exhibits or come to one of there many wonderful events we are never disappointed. Be sure to check out the new family center and make something to take with you.... More

This building has a big sense of space with a beautiful rooftop sitting area and is beautifully restored. To me, the building was the best part. The paintings and sculptures were nice and really based on the old west, but it seemed misplaced in upstate New York. But to be fair, not really my cup of tea, so others might... More

I thought the cost was rather expensive for a pretty small and mundane selection of art. I would have passed it up had I known.

Wonderful small museum with art from and about the West. Spacious, airy rooms with paintings. Such a treat to stop at a small museum and see Remingtons, Bierstadts, and a few N.C. Wyeths. Appreciated the attention given to Illustrators from the 1930s-1950s. I was impressed with the work they are doing to introduce children to art.

A nice stop to see some impressive pieces of western art. Well kept property, with friendly staff. Stop and see all they have to offer.

Beautiful little museum of American Western art. NOT Norman Rockwell, people, but lots of cool cowboy and Native American art, classic and contemporary, by the masters. Nice gift shop, very friendly staff. See what the current exhibition is online before you go. You could do the whole museum in an hour or two. The building itself is historic and lovely.... More

A couple months ago, I read a newspaper article about the Cameros' Southwestern art collection on display at this museum which prompted me to set a day aside to go to Corning. The display is breathtaking, but the rest of the museum stopped my heart. The lighting and wall colours compliment the art on all 3 floors. It isn't a... More
