Beautiful little museum of American Western art. NOT Norman Rockwell, people, but lots of cool cowboy and Native American art, classic and contemporary, by the masters. Nice gift shop, very friendly staff. See what the current exhibition is online before you go. You could do the whole museum in an hour or two. The building itself is historic and lovely.... More

A couple months ago, I read a newspaper article about the Cameros' Southwestern art collection on display at this museum which prompted me to set a day aside to go to Corning. The display is breathtaking, but the rest of the museum stopped my heart. The lighting and wall colours compliment the art on all 3 floors. It isn't a... More

This is a small but very inclusive art museum of Native American art as well as Western art. The pottery exhibit is really good along with some other items including some current work of Northcoast Native American sculpture. The gun and rife collection is good. We spent a couple of hours here and it was really interesting. You can save... More

Friendly People, great gift shop. With the double deal of the Glass museum and the Rockwell, it was quite affordable to do both.

a very interesting specialized museum. Well worth a visit, especially when combined with time spent at the also exceptional Corning Museum of Glass.

We bought the combination money saving ticket with the Corning museum of glass. We try, but our family is not really into art so we should not have bothered to purchase, but that said, we pleasantly enjoyed ourselves. They are working hard to entertain the younger crowd with a room dedicated to some hands on activities that gave us 20... More

Imagine getting into a museum after 5 o'clock and seeing marvelous works by an Inuit sculptor and then going up stairs and seeing some of the Robert Rockwell collection of iconic paintings and bronzes by the artists that influenced movies and advertising for almost 100 years.

This is a wonderful museum which includes in its collection of western art some familiar top flight artists such as Frederic Remington, Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Moran. It's western artifacts are excellent . It is a comfortable museum to visit and linger over paintings without disturbing anyone. Nice gift shop and a friendly staff ( typical of the people of... More

We got the combination tickets for here and Corning Museum of Glass. The Rockwell Museum is very clean and well kept, but is not the most interesting place you could be in Corning. The art is very beautiful, and the setup of the entire museum is very well planned out. If you have loud children, however, reconsider bringing them here.... More

This is NOT a Norman Rockwell Museum. While the Western art is lovely , I felt cheated. If you are an art lover, this is for you. If not, skip it and don't buy the combo ticket at Corning Glass Museum
