Played with 3 buddies, all handicaps about 14-15, no one broke 90 and if we really kept score (played 6s) would have been closer to 100. The course is not really long (played from the white tees) but very challenging to your short game, many elevated greens, well guarded with bunkers and moguls, are you really good with your 60... more

Despite some tee shots that will reactivate your acid reflux, the Leatherstocking Golf Course in Cooperstown NY will provide as bucolic a parkland golfing experience as you will ever find. Bordered by Lake Otsego (the 'Mirrormere' of James Fenimore Cooper fame), the world famous Farmers and Fenimore Art Museums and bisected by the stonewalled state route 20, the course challenges... more
