Nice tour and tasting. Got to sample 6 of their beers. Friendly staff and great restaurant. Nice outdoor space as well.

The tour was very interesting. The employees were helpful and welcoming. They have an outdoor beer garden. We had a wonderful lunch of crusty bread, aged cheese, fresh fruit and homemade soup. Delicious. The sun was shining; the day special and made more so by the employees, food and beer.

We were very disappointed in the service and quality of the food served at their cafe. Two sandwiches, two draft beers and an order of fries cost us $52 with tip. My beer was served half head and half beer. The sandwiches were just average at best. Skip the food and take the free brewery tour.

I was introduced to Ommegang beer a few years ago from a college friend who was from Cooperstown and I am in love! I was making a trip up there and knew I had to squeeze in a stop at the brewery and I am so glad that I did. They offer free tours of the brewery part, and beer... More

These Europeans know how to do it don't they? The setting they chose is breathtaking, as you approach and while you're there. The review down below states it all, just how great an experience it is. But after visiting yesterday for the 5th time, we really really appreciate this beautiful place. (I can't believe someone would complain about flies, why... More

Ommegang is primarily known for one thing: making fantastic beer. I caught wind of the fact that the brewery was worth a visit and planned a trip up to Cooperstown. The setting is beautiful, quite different from many breweries located in strip malls or the industrial outskirts of cities. We chose to forego the tour but it appeared to be... More

We have tried to eat lunch there many times but it has always been too long a wait. We finally came at a quiet time and sat outside. It was absolutely disgusting- flies everywhere. My daughter ended up with welts from them and could not eat her meal she was so grossed out. The waitstaff could care less about the... More

I've been to several breweries and this by far was the best one! For starters, the location itself is impressive. It's nestled in the valleys on pristine farmland. You can just imagine yourself relaxing in the yard and drinking a beer. The structure itself is also an interesting architectural site. We went anticipating a tour, tasting, and meal. We arrived... Amazing place and a definitely a place not to miss while in the area. Absolutely stunning facility - brewery housed in an old barn - surrounded by beautiful open fields, some planted in hops. Very nice restaurant on grounds with very delicious food (don't miss the mussels cooked in beer or the fries with dipping sauces). Tour of facilities very... More

Stopped on our way to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Beer tasting was fun. Didn't go on a tour as we arrived at 1:00 and the next tour wasn't until 3:15. Did have lunch there. The chicken and waffles were great. I would highly recommend trying them out along with your favorite beer.
