6 types of beer for $3 with souvenir glass with pretzels and dips; bought home abbey ale and 2 types of dip. Resto's food was surprisingly good. Free tour is short but informative.

The tour, while brief, was a great way to see how a smaller brewery functions. The real stars of the show are the tasting and cage. For $3 you get to taste all 6 of their year round beers and get to keep your glass and enjoy some snacks, it was a really great time. After the tour and tasting... More

Not only is the beer good, but the food is also. We did the tasting (only $3) and free brewery tour. Inside and outside seating is available. On weekends they sometimes have music. They set up an outside tent with a few portable taps. It was a beautiful day and they offer a good variety of beer. A must stop... More

I surprised by husband for his birthday by taking him to to Ommegang. This was his favorite brewery of all time. Even though I am not a beer drinker, I enjoyed my visit. When we arrived, it was a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon in April. I did not anticipate a wait; however, even though we arrived around 12:30pm, we... More

Brewery Ommegang has been on our destination list for quite a while. We drove the 4 hour trek straight to be sure that we got one of the free tours. Had plenty of time so we ate at the cafe first. Both soups were wonderful (I loved the Cheddar Ale soup) and the fritas were worth it. Tom got the... More

Brewery Ommegang is one of those miraculous places out in the middle of nowhere that, because of it's own particular charms draws a big crowd, even though there is really not much else around. And it's charms are many. We had been on the tour/tasting a few years ago, and so didn't sign up for that. But from what I... More

My husband couldn't wait to get to this place. We did a brewery tour and tasting. The tour was short but interesting. The tasting was great since the beers are so good. We also ate at the restaurant there which had awesome food.

Fairly standard but informative brewery tour, which was free. Excellent tasting of their 6 main beers for only $5, which includes the small tasting glass and tastings of cheese dips etc. Great value.

We went to Ommegang for a tour of the brewery. It is very picturesque in an old farm house. The surprising thing is how small it is. Definately worth it. The cafe and the beer were absoluteltly amazing. The frites are awesome. I also had a platter with several artisanal cheese duck confete. It was very good. I recomend getting... More

I wanted to take an adult son to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY when I was visiting him in the Ft Drum area. He was excited to join me--as long as we could add lunch and a tour at Ommegang Brewery. We've lost some of our innocence and naiveté with professional baseball (should have seen the... More
