This brewery is tucked away on the fringe of Cooperstown, but it is worth finding. The property is beautiful and the beer tastings are delicious, fun and informative. There are live music performances here and inside and outside seating for visitors. We didn't have the opportunity to eat because it was so crowded, so I don't know if the food... More

We stopped at the Cafe one afternoon for lunch while in Cooperstown for the boys' baseball tournament. We did not have time to do the tour, but did select two beer flights to go with our meal. I am not the beer aficionado my husband is, but I still enjoyed trying 10 of their varieties, all of which were very... More

Words can't describe what a wonderful time we had at the January beer dinner. The inn at Cooperstown bused us over with 30 others staying with us. We received a great tour of the brewery followed by cheese board and large tastings of their beers. We received a sweatshirts and had a fabulous dinner paired with 5 other beers. They... More

A beer lover will most likely know of Ommegang - a brewery specializing in Belgian-style beers. Ommegang Brewery has been owned by a large Belgium-based brewery since 2003 but don't let that dissuade you from visiting! We didn't have time for a tour but we did have time to have a few beers at the bar since the tables were... More

Great beer! Probably the best we had in the Cooperstown area, which is loaded with breweries. We ordered a tasting flight. For lunch it seemed like a lot of menu items were not available as they had run out. We ended up ordering a chicken Caesar salad that was average. We also ordered a bratwurst, which was excellent. I would... More

A great stop that is not just for beer lovers. Sign up for a 30 minute tour of the brewery then beer tasting. The tour is free and the tasting $5! Yes! Five dollars! The hosts are knowledgable and friendly. Each tasting was a couple of ounces each and we were given the glasses to keep. There is also a... More

We stopped in for lunch and a flight of beers. The servers know their brews. The food is good and the bratwurst on pretzel roll is great, with or without homemade kraut. There is a tour, we did not go on due to time conmtratints. The facility is unique in its style and layout. The store is well stocked with... More

Ommegang brews beer in the Belgian tradition, which means it is among the world's best. Take the tour, which will take you through an intimate view of their brewing facilities and processes. The tastings are loads of fun, and a great bargain. Even the food is first rate. Enjoy the party!

My Dad and I were on a tour of all the pro sports halls of fame and decided on taking a break from wine tours to check out this brewery. Great food and beer in a very cool atmosphere.

Not so hot this visit! Gift shop was lame, beer was served at top price in half a glass.. last year, same time, full pints were cheap. Outside, sat on dirty couches that last year were immaculate, and had a fire pit.. went downhill in our estimation.
