This is a fun place to visit; they offer brewery tours as well as beer tastings. The tastings are reasonably-priced: $4/person to sample six beers and learn a little about them as you go. There is also a restaurant and a great gift shop.

Being a big fan of the beer I made plans to visit when I decided to go to The Baseball Hall of Fame. The tour was very basic, nothing exciting. They did give you a chance to try some of the beers which is always fantastic but the souvenir glass is basically a shot glass. Don't get why they wouldn't... More

The brewery is in the countryside which presents a nice scenic tour to the brewery. The brewery itself is unique and offers tours. The restaurant has good food and of course tastings or craft beer choices for everyone. The store is a little small and could use some expanding, but is filled with great options sure to please everyone.

Brewery Ommegang is the brewery that makes the Game of Thrones beers. That being said, I expected it to be a huge place. It isn't. It's charming and the beer delicious, but the place was mobbed when we went. We got there too late for a tour and tasting so we decided to get a few drinks in the cafe.... More

We arrived at about 1:30 on a Sunday in November, intending to have lunch, then do the 3:00 tour and tasting, and leave by 3:30 for another appointment. We were amazed at how crowded the restaurant was and that there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. We thought since this was the off season it wouldn't be crowded.... More

We went to the brewery on a Saturday in early October. The foliage and views were beautiful! Inside it was jam packed to get a table to eat, so we headed outside where it was much less crowded. There is a tented area with comfy seating and you're able to get food and drinks out there. There was also a... More

We decided not to go on the brewery tour because we have been on many of those thru the years. But they are accommodating and let you taste different beers so that you can decide which ones you'd like to buy. We visited the restaurant and enjoyed the mussels marguez (with a spicy lamb sausage) with the wonderful frites (french... More

Had a great time at this brewery ! We arrived right at 12 and got on the 1230 tour and 1:00pm tasting ! The tour was not the greatest and pretty lame. There was no activity going on. I have been on others that have been way better. The tasting was great as we got to taste 6 beers and... More

If you are on your way to Cooperstown NY or just want to visit a authentic Belgium Brewery in NY state this is the place. The facility is amazing and impressive.
