This park is a hidden gem. Very, very quiet and almost private. It has a spectacular lake, you can boat or fish. Not many amenities but most sites have benches, tables and grills. A great place to hike and maybe stay overnight (one night). Entrance fee of $7 per car.

Whether driving or hiking, this state park is lovely. The only covered bridge left standing is a quaint site across from the brook that feeds into the lake. Great place for a relaxing afternoon or some camping. Does not have a lot of facilities but adequate for a day or two. Definitely worth exploring.

This is definitely a hidden gem! We drove from the Albany, NY area to this State Park over Memorial Day weekend. It's located on Otsego Lake which is breathtaking. Fee: It cost us $7.00 to enter the park Parking: Ample parking Picnic Area: A very large picnic area with some locations having a grill and others just tables. There are... More

At the North end of Otsego Lake is Glimmerglass State Park. There are pavillions, camping sites, hiking trails, as well as picnic tables, beachfront swimming, and shower facilities. There is a snack shop in the park as well. For a fun adventure for an afternoon, or a camping trip, this is a great, great facility. It's clean, not overly populated... More

Beautiful location on a very nice and clean lake. Great facilities for a State Park. It's a bit of a drive from Cooperstown but well worth it.

Serene and beautiful scenery. Beach is very clean with lots of benches to sit on if you don't want to sit on the beach.

Beautiful views, quiet in late September. We loved sitting, watching the sunset. Lots of wildlife and beautiful fall colors.

We would love to return to hike the trails in the park. Well maintained and beautiful. Need to return here when the leaves change. Watched 4 deer working their way through the park.

We walked around the beach portion of the park. It was very quiet as, we visited off season. It was pretty, and the water was about 70 degrees.
