Beautiful Lake

Before heading to The Hall of Fame, we spent some time just admiring this beautiful lake. Very calm and peaceful. The rolling hills and farmlands just added to the natural beauty.

We went to Cooperstown in the fall and stayed at a hotel with a view of the lake. School was in session so it was very calm and peaceful. The area seemed very "traditional." Meaning not commercialized. We really liked that.

This is the headwaters of the Susquehanna River which runs 400 miles from here to the Chesapeake Bay. I began that 400 mile canoe trip from here about 20 years ago, and this was a happy revisit.

Our family spent a weekend here to celebrate my in-laws' 60th wedding anniversary. Accommodations were beautiful & comfortable. Great golf in the morning followed by a fabulous lazy afternoon by the pool. Service was first rate and meals were delicious. Sunday brunch was the best! Grand hotel! Classic charm!

This is a beautiful lake set among the beautiful hills and farmland of central New York. The heart of Cooperstown is on the south end of the lake which is a beautiful and quaint town.

We enjoyed the view, beautiful location and very quiet place to stay. The lake front was amazing and would stay again at this location if I was in the area.

Many things to do and the scenery is beautiful. The art museum is on the lake. There are hotels on the lake.

Gorgeous hills surround the glimmering, crystal clear water. There is relatively little boat traffic.
