I attended for IBHOF Induction weekend as a friend of one of the inductees. What an amazing experience, seeing so many childhood heroes up close, all the visiting boxers were very cool, and most were more than happy to have a chat and sign anything you asked. The museum is mind blowing for a boxing fan like myself. Hoping to... More

A must see for any boxing fan. It was a little less then $10 per person to get in, and had it all. The best part was the gift shop with the boxing ring from Madison Square Garden.

Glad I had complimentary tickets, otherwise I don't know that it was worth the price of admission. Liked what little memorabilia they had. Don't skip going to the gift shop, there is the original boxing ring from Madison square garden there

What a great museum. I really liked the pictures and descriptions of what they were known for. I also liked the nicknames they would go by. The historical heavy weights were 190 pounds back in the day. Boy times have changed. The knuckle casts were interesting to see how small some of them were. Then you go to the gift... More

Next weekend is the induction weekend so there was a good buzz around the new class including Oscar de la Hoya and Félix Trinidad. This is about the size of the wrestling hall of fame in Iowa. Not big but well done with good exhibits. I do not know much about boxing other than the main names. I learned a... More

Stopped by Memorial Day weekend only to find out the museum was closed because management decided to do some painting. I understand the need for maintenance, but why would you close down on weekend when you might actually have a lot of visitors? Makes no sense. Management should have scheduled the painting on a weekday or a regular weekend. I'm... More

Okay, saw the sign as we were driving to Verona. We didn't know it was there! Checked in at Verona and next day we decided to backtrack one exit to see it. NOT DISAPPOINTED! If you love boxing or even if you are just a casual fan....this is so worth it. We had a great time and really learned a... More

A must stop for any fan of the "Sweet Science". The museum is small but has a nice selection of memorabilia. There are plaques of all the boxers inducted into the hall. I had to make sure to find my favorite boxer of all time, Alexis Argüello! There are large display cases of trunks and robes from some big name... More

The museum is small but very well appointed. It also offers a very comprehensive history of organized, modern boxing. I especially enjoyed the clips of memorable great fights.

We had a very pleasant day trip (from Syracuse) to the IBHOF and Ft. Stanwix in Rome. While my husband knows boxing fairly well, my 19-year-old grandson and I have only a basic acquaintance with the sport. There was something here for all of us. Some nice displays about the well-known champions over the years, and lots of info about... More
