I would strongly suggest starting at the center in Canandaigua. This place is a source of information for the entire region. They have cooking classes, a wine tasting room, craft beers, local cheeses, and a good bistro. You can have a wine tasting but we chose to go to the Bistro bar to have wine flights and a cheese plate.... More

Wonderful place to taste local food, wine and beer. The food is beautifully prepared and showcases local area growers. A wide variety of classes are also available for individuals or larger groups that are wonderfully fun and informative. There is also a tasting room for Finger Lake wines and beers.

We had so much fun in one of the classes. I learned more about cooking in an hour than in the past 10 years. Reserve space early because it fills up fast.

Went here for the first time and so glad I did! Started out with a wine flight, then moved on to a spirit flight and ended with a "dessert MU" flight-delicious!! Plus the bar tender gave us some great recommendations for our winery tour the following day.

We had dinner and used the educational facility to discover local vs. world wines. The wine presenter did an excellent job with each type of wine and we had a great time doing it. Love the spot. Good to go for dinner but if you have a chance to do any of the cooking or beverage educational events they're awesome.

Unique and interesting facility that gives cooking classes, has a gourmet shop and an upstairs restaurant and bar. There are three sections there. The bar has live music and a warm, friendly feel to it. The restaurant has a casual patio area and a very nice, pretty indoor area. The food was generally good. The flatbread pizza, risotto appetizer, pork... More

Just stopped in to check out the spot and ended up really enjoying ourselves. We did the wine and spirits tasting and the staff that helped us were great.

We had lunch at the upstairs cafe and then wine tasting downstairs. We had a great waiter he was attentive. We had the Pan seared Montauk scallops which were cooked perfectly. Followed by the smoked gouda Andean pizza my husband liked and ricotta & chevre gnocchi only down on this was that the plate was so hot that they left... More

Trying to come up with unique team building events can sometimes be challenging year in and year out. We took a chance and had the NYWCC host our annual Kick-off meeting. Our event revolved around the Hands On Kitchen offering where all 24 of us worked in teams to prepare our meal. There was a terrific chef who guided us... More
