I've visited the Bronx Zoo several times, each time taking the Total Experience ticket. This option costs a little more but includes just about everything except for the camel ride. Got there right after opening through bronx river gate-but once paid we drove down to Asia plaza and parked right next to that entrance so to ride the monorail.
