Came here As part of a wine tour for a bachelorette party. The one time we cheered a little too loud and we were told to quiet down. Seriously this is a winery not church! Website said that we were all to get a glass- apparently not. Maybe because we were too loud from trying to have a good time!... More

Dear Loorie, I spoke to you twice during your visit. The reason we very politely and unobtrusively motioned to your group, asking if you wouldn't mind lowering the volume a bit was that we received a complaint from a foursome that they couldn't even hear their server. Then you asked for the glass that was "promised on our website." I... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your visit. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, our owners Art & Joyce Hunt established the winery in 1981 back when there were just a dozen or so wineries around Keuka Lake. I hope you have a chance to visit again before not too long! More

What a surprise. We almost didn't go because this is a little bit further out then most of the wineries on Keuka but I am so glad we did. Excellent winery. Loved how it's laid out. They were organized and friendly and very knowledgable. Very nice tasting room and gift shop. The cheese they sold were great too. The fresh... More

My husband and I had a New York wine card that entitled us to free tastings, but we chose to upgrade to the wine-cheese (my husband) and the wine-chocolate (me) pairings. What an interesting tasting! Of course, we both tasted everything. We chose our favorites to buy--a Seyval Blanc, the alchemy and the vignole. When we went to select the... More

Your favorites are among our best-sellers for the past several years! Thanks so much for the nice review, and I hope you have a chance to come back next season. More

While back in the Finger Lakes for a girls weekend, we ended up at Hunt Country Vineyards. It was not my first time nor will it be my last. Great wine, wish I could get it in PA! Just down the road from the vineyard is a lovely farm that sells grape pies, grapes and pie filling in the fall.... More

If you want a unique wine tasting experience, then go to Hunt country Vineyards. They will provide a wine chocolate pairing that is delightful and delicious! For example, the Alchemy (too selling red) was paired with Almond Cherry candy and the Chardonnay was paired with Pistachio Ginger candy. I highly recommend this experience. My favorite was the Vignoles with Coconut... More

Thanks for coming and taking the time to review your visit! The combination of coconut and curry has been known for a long time, but you discovered a "secret". Those flavors pair wonderfully with chocolate and a semi-sweet wine like our Vignoles that has vibrant exotic fruit notes! I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit, and hope to see you... More

This was our second experience at the Hunt Country Vineyards twilight picnic. This is an event that they hold on a single Saturday night every August. There was great wine and food along with entertaining music and hayrides. The vineyard is in a beautiful setting. We had a great time.

We're so glad you enjoyed the evening! (We did, too.) This year we thought we'd start the festivities earlier with a variety of educational tours. I'm glad you liked the haywagon vineyard tour. It was great of you to come all the way from East Aurora. Thank you so much for the nice review, and we hope to see you... More
