This level park north of Binghamton's downtown parallels the Chenango River and is one of my favorite spots for short hikes and bike rides. One can do a 6-mile loop there, it is safe, and it is clean.

Otsiningo Park is a long narrow park that hugs the curves of the Chenango River. The southern end is larger and more developed, with a combination of open fields and wooded shady areas with mature trees, a large playground area, soccer fields, restrooms, large parking areas, and many picnic tables and grills spread over the park. The banks of the... More

There are many good parks in the Greater Binghamton area and this one is one of the best. There is a reason why 150,000 people come here for Spidie Fest every year!

Balloon rally with out of this world entertainment. Farmers market is a weekly event and the nature walk is scenic.

Great place to have a picnic. Also there is a playground with swings and a climbing gym. You can play ball here too. You can also walk this park, as it is long and narrow. Entrance is off Bevier Street, just before turning right at the light.

It's a great park with a long ways to walk, run, skate or bike. I love a good picnic under the trees near the river.

There IS A small FARMERS MARKET ON Saturdays. The park is clean and a pleasure to visit. Many activities are offered on particular weekends. The Balloon Fest is the best.

Enjoyed visiting this park during Spiedie Fest last year and enjoyed the festivities even though it rained quite a bit. The park itself has a good amount of trails to enjoy and I know that if I lived in Binghamton I would probably take advantage of them. With that being said, I'm looking forward to coming back for Spiedie Fest... More

I visit Otsiningo Park many times per week (year round) to take a walk on the nearly 6 miles of paved flat walking trails. The park meanders along the Chenango river near Binghamton NY and there is a main portion of the park that is accessible from Bevier street in Binghamton, but don't just stay in the southern section. The... More

I was the only person in the park last Sunday when the Wind Chill Equivalent Temperature was -30 Fahrenheit but the sidewalks were plowed and salted and I had an exhilarating experience (I usually have good runs here even when the weather is more conducive for it).
