We've been here twice and it's an ideal place for children ages 2 to 6. It's a stretch for my 7 year old. There are so many different areas that can keep your children busy for hours. The outside story garden is an awesome free play space that's so beautiful & inventive. It's geared for kids 2-10. My son and... More

My family (Wife and two sons (6 and 4 yrs) and I had our first visit. It is a rather small building compared to museums we have been in but they have managed to make very effective use of the space. There are many diverse exhibits. The bee section, river system and dentist office held my sons’ particular interest. We... More

The museum has a lot of models, e.g. model fire truck, model dental clinic, model super market. Kids enjoy playing "pretend". But I don't think they have much for the younger kids like 1 year old. There is a toddler room, but it is small. They charge for kids 1 or above. I think they should change it to 2... More

I think they charge way to much especially for adults... It is the same stuff every time. My 3 year old does like to run around, but again it is expensive. It seems dirty too. Alot of the stuff is at least 20 years old, same stuff since i was a kid. The got rid of the neat glow wall... More

The Discovery Center is an absolutely blast to visit. I had a ton of fun just watching my younger family members having the time of their lives. I highly recommend it.

The Discovery Center in Binghamton is a great place for kids. They can pretend to be all sorts of people: fireman, doctor, dentist, banker, baker, etc. Then, there is the grocery store full of fun groceries, and the diner with a fridge and stove. So much fun! Oh, and a great bubble area where you can bring a bubble up... More

What a wonderful place for children to grow their imaginations. Be a clerk for a day, or just surround yourself with the magnificent Gingerbread Houses at Holiday time. Children young and old will find this place enchanting.
