The museum has a lot of models, e.g. model fire truck, model dental clinic, model super market. Kids enjoy playing "pretend". But I don't think they have much for the younger kids like 1 year old. There is a toddler room, but it is small. They charge for kids 1 or above. I think they should change it to 2... More

I think they charge way to much especially for adults... It is the same stuff every time. My 3 year old does like to run around, but again it is expensive. It seems dirty too. Alot of the stuff is at least 20 years old, same stuff since i was a kid. The got rid of the neat glow wall... More

The Discovery Center is an absolutely blast to visit. I had a ton of fun just watching my younger family members having the time of their lives. I highly recommend it.

The Discovery Center in Binghamton is a great place for kids. They can pretend to be all sorts of people: fireman, doctor, dentist, banker, baker, etc. Then, there is the grocery store full of fun groceries, and the diner with a fridge and stove. So much fun! Oh, and a great bubble area where you can bring a bubble up... More

What a wonderful place for children to grow their imaginations. Be a clerk for a day, or just surround yourself with the magnificent Gingerbread Houses at Holiday time. Children young and old will find this place enchanting.

Very kid friendly. Displays are interesting for adults too. Adequate parking and walkable distances.

It was very cool with tons to do. But the setup was lousy. You had to walk out of each exhibit to go into the next. But other than that great!

A fun, hands on childrens museum that offers fun specialty classes throughout the year. Perfect place to spend the day with your kids or grandkids. Not very scientific, just kid geared fun!

Stopped here with my grandkids, 2 1/2 and 8 years old. The indoor Center was a blast, with many, many hands on activities. Grandson (8) enjoyed being the pilot in the cockpit of the "jet plane" and putting on the complete gear before "driving" the fire engine. Granddaughter loved climbing all over everything, with lots of nooks to explore. I... More

I went here in first grade, nearly 20 years later i took my son. He loved it. The staff was fairly absent and it was empty on this particular day which was great,as we like to be left alone. Lots of hands on, kid size activities and play areas. A grocery store, hospital, nursery, fire station, a bank. A new... More
