The woman working the check-in desk was a bit grumpy both times I went in. I booked the private Rio Grande pool and it was fantastic. I loved being able to soak naked right next to the river! The men in the next pool talked the whole time and I could hear them, even with the wooden wall between us.... More

We first visited Riverbend Hot Springs located overlooking the Rio Grande about 20 years ago, and have returned several times…. Before it was a funky little hostel with two main pools and the Minnow pools to soak in. The rooms to rent were very basic and inexpensive for the stay and soaking. Over the years the ownership changed and now... More

The setting of the Riverbend Hot Springs is quite beautiful with a view of the mountains, the Rio Grande River, and big open sky. The cleanliness and maintenance of the public and private pools is superb. The beautiful twinkling lights on the trees at night is truly lovely and reflect into the river. The one and only public changing area... More

I have been a customer of Riverbend Hot Springs for many years. It is literally one of my favorite places in the whole world and I have been to a lot of cool places. Lately though, it seems that their management is much more interested in money than they are in assuring their customers have a relaxing time. It is... More

The hot springs were amazing and so relaxing. We stayed on site and the room was okay, quite small and not a whole lot of storing place but doable for 1-2 day stay. We tried all three private soaks/pools and highly recommend it to those who don't want to share the pool space with others in the public pools

Quite a lovely hot springs resort right on the Rio Grande River. The night I visited was fairly slow however there was no vacancy in the on-site lodging but they recommended the Rocket Inn where I was able to get a lovely budget room and purchase a discounted soak voucher for Riverbend. The stars twinkling on the river, sound of... More

We spent the night at this resort next to the Rio Grande and enjoyed the spa. While relaxing in the soaking pools in the day, we watched river birds (coots, a great blue heron, and an osprey). At night, we soaked under a star-filled sky. If you plan to soak more than once, I'd recommend bringing two bathing suits, so... More

We did not overnight at the Riverbend Hot Springs. We stayed at a motel about 6 blocks away without its own hot springs water access, though it offered discounted passes for use of the springs. The passes were for either 50 minutes in a private tub or one hour use of the public area and pools. We opted for both,... More

Friendly staff, beautiful views & facilities. $15 for private pool-best to book ahead. & $10 for public pools. Those prices are for a 50 minute session.
