The comparison to Tassajara is more in the feel of the place than the physical property. The staff are extremely accommodating and the riverside location of the pools allows for wonderful bird watching. We opted for the least expensive room, which was small but adequate and spotlessly clean. We may upgrade the room next visit. The pool areas, both public... More

This place has really upgraded it's rooms and pools over the years, including a major overhaul last year (when it was closed for a while) We did NOT stay there, but enjoyed our tour and seeing the tubs and the river!

I'm from Albuquerque and needed a getaway but only had one day. A traditional day at the spa with a massage seemed mundane, I wanted a little adventure. I always wanted to try a natural mineral spa. Riverbend Hot Springs' website seemed very inviting. A girlfriend decided to join me. When we arrived we couldn't believe the oasis before our... More

We called to make reservations, and was HAPPILY and PROFESSIONAL greeted with Ben via telephone.... Made out reservation for the following night for 4 adults and 2 teenagers in the Tahiti room. Was hoping it was larger, but it as all ok..... When we arrived, it became dark, and they had very dim lighting throughout the area for ambiance.... When... More

We rented the Rio since our hosts at Rocket Inn told us it was the hottest and that's what we like. Its a private outside pool where you can shed your clothes, sit perched above the river (not the most beautiful river but hey!) and enjoy the sunshine and hot springs. How can you go wrong? We recommend it!!

My wife and I truly enjoy the laid back atmosphere and new age/native American decor to the grounds. The rooms are clean, comfortable and conveniently located within steps of the outdoor hot springs. Relaxing in one of the pools at night under the crystal clear sky with all the stars above is a wonderful experience. On each of our visits,... More

We have visited Riverbend once a month or more for over a year now, and we love it--and T or C! We always find friendly staff and clean rooms (we usually spend at least one night; sometimes, two), but of course the star of the show is the hot springs... ...which are fabulous. There are four public pools, ranging from... More

This unusual little place, located at a riverbed in downtown Truth or Consequences NM is the ideal place to experience the hot springs. Be sure to book a private tub for the ultimate experience! We booked it through our hotel (Comfort Inn and Suites) and got a great discount and I believe that if you stay at Riverbend you also... More

I took two friends from out of town to a private spa on a week day. The spa itself was great, very relaxing. The staff however was another story, They were rude and ugly from begining to end. I was embarrassed that I took my friends there. I will not be going back and would not refer anyone there. The... More

This was my second time visiting this gorgeous place! My first time was on public pool $10.00 for one hour soaking this time I reserved a private pool named "Tierra" which was perfect for my two friends and me. Its a very relaxing experience soaking while admiring the beautiful river landscape with zero city noises. The place in general is... More
