Great burgers and a good atmosphere. Usually have some sort of live music in the weekly lineup that is always a little bit of everything. Have been fortunate enough to see some really cool acts come through. I also enjoy the food, and the big patio out back. Stop by grab a beer and burger, and relax and take in... More

We came upon this place after finding other restaurants with long waiting times. It is a combo solar center, radio station, bar, restaurant and live music venue! We wandered through the long hallway and eventually found ourselves in a large open bar area. Seating included overstuffed chairs, couches, bar tables and an assortment of stools. We sat by the window... More

There's a lot going on at the KTAOS Solar Center. It's a radio station. It's a bar and restaurant. It's a live music venue, featuring bands from around the world. The view of the mountains is fantastic. (I understand why one of the commercials for the bar uses the line "come and drink in the view." Very clever.) In the... More

One of the best music venues in Taos, with the best view, too! And the food is very good, as well, especially for bar food. Great for all ages.

We live only a mile away, so this bar/music venue is place we visit frequently. Just a couple of things to note: the music rarely starts earlier than a half hour late. It must be something about the elevation! If the act is doing a sound check at the time they were supposed to start, the music will start 30-45... More

the solar center is a great building, with one of the best views around of the mountains. the atmosphere is chill, and the outdoor area is fantastic! the music venue is great for dancing, lots of room and a decent wooden dance floor. if only there were some good music there other than bad pop music and white boy reggae.... This space is wonderful for a beer with a beautiful view and great sandwiches. The Taos BRAWL (women's arm wrestling for charity) occurred while we were there. Go Whiplashes! Enjoy a little of the local culture for a good cause.
