We were met at our hotel by Dave in a big Chevy Suburban around 6 am. We then drove to pick up 4 others. I thought this "limo service" was a nice touch so we didn't have to find our way to the launch site. But driving down to the Dunn Bridge and back up a switch-back road, we realized... More

My girlfriend and I decided to take a hot air balloon ride while in Taos. Next to skiing in the valley, this seemed like the best activity to take part in. We left at 8am and although it was cold out 17 degrees, we had an experience and view that is hard to match anywhere else. Our pilot and his... More

We missed the larger balloon weekend in ABQ, but after going to Taos Mountain Balloon Festival we have no regrets, in fact will return to Taos's event as often and possible. It is a great event to be up close to the balloons and balloonists. Parking free and plentiful. Food available and souvenirs as well. Opportunity to get many outstanding... More

Things don't get much better than this. The experience touches your soul, and the people who make this possible (thank you Ed, Lisa), are, simply, the best. Watching the sunrise across the Mesa next to the Rio Grande Gorge is amazing enough. Lifting into the sky and down into the gorge is beyond description. GO. RIGHT NOW! Just stop whatever... More

Thought I'd be nervous or height-sensitive but ... Not at all! The pros at Pueblo instill confidence and make this basket race a bucket-list adventure. You sail right down the Rio Grande Gorge, oohing at the cliff faces and, if you're lucky, the white-tailed deer clambering down the rocks. Don't miss Dave and Scofield's balloon stories during the traditional post-ride... More

What can I say about the first balloon trip of my life except "amazing." The Pueblo Balloon Company is a group of wonderful people who are equal parts extremely competent professionals, balloon enthusiasts, and cohesive "family" who operate as a seamless team. From the moment I was picked up at my front door to the time we touched down and... More

Took a balloon ride over and into the Rio Grande Gorge with Pueblo Balloon in late September. A wonderful experience. Picked up at my B&B by Dave. This is plus since it is early morning and dark. Dave was quite engaging in telling stories about Taos and kept us entertained. Arrived at the site to watch the balloon being unloaded.... More

I was part of the 11-member group with "cmast", my son, who talked me into going. I am terrified of heights, but decided that I didn't want to miss out on this family event. Our pilot was Kris and, because of his and the rest of the crew's professionalism and obvious expertise, I never felt the least bit of fear.... More

We flew with Kris, who struck the perfect balance between safe, professional, and FUN! Kris and the crew gave us a fantastic trip, snacks after our flight, great pictures, an interesting history lesson and beautiful views worth a lifetime of memories! We even got the opportunity to help with the balloon set up and packing if we wanted to. All... More

11 of us went on hot air balloon trip with Pueblo Balloon as part of engagement celebration. Kris and Ed were pilots and both of our groups had good opinion and exclaimed about the experience. The weather was perfect, which is not something pilots can control. But the parts they can control, they impressed. We were made to feel comfortable... More
