The place is great for beginners and for intermediate riders. The staff is very friendly and take safety precautions. By far the best place to ride horses in Ruidoso hands down. More

If riding horses is not your daily thing because you live in the city, this is a MUST DO familiy attraction when in Ruidoso. It was SOO GREAT for my two older girls (13 & 7 ) to have their own horse and my baby girl rode with me. We got there early morning and it was such a nice... More

We went riding during our spring break to Ruidoso. It was a great ride. We had great guides and the owners were exceptional. I loved my horse "Boss". He was very gentle as were the rest of the horses. I would recommend anyone going on vacation to visit the stables. Well worth the money and very relaxing ride. More

Top quality stables with a nice trail ride up the hill with great views of Sierra Blanca and the Indian reervation. Prices are reasonable and horses are in good shape. More

I would just like to reply that I have ridden at this stables many times and take my friends & family there when they are in the area & we always love it! Horses do not slip then buck, please understand that accidents happen and you signed a disclaimer when you first got there. I would highly recommend this "attraction"... More

We, my husband and I, have rode on many trails but I can say nothing compared to this ride. Going through the mountains with snow on the ground and pine trees everywhere it was great. You het a... We went to Grindstone Stables first in July 2009 and had a great time enjoying the scenery. We weren't aware they were open in the winter, but when we heard a radio show describing the winter ride, we decided to go back. In 2009, we just drove up to the stables. Now, Grindstone requires reservations. I was able to pay... More

We went horseback riding and had a great time. The "cowboys" were all very professional and friendly and very patient with my 5 and 8 year old boys. I also recommend the sleigh ride through Upper Canyon. More
