Awesome historical display of native american and wagon collections

Really neat experience, especially with the volunteers at the museum that have extensive knowledge of the collections. Very enjoyable!

The Hubbard Museum is much more than horses. One section of Native American artifacts is one of a kind. Early American modes of travel including horse drawn antique wagons and carriages. A section of the museum has western clothes to dress up in for photo shoot. Great fun for the whole family.

This is a small museum that really held my interest. I never knew I would be so interested in the different wagons, but they were beautiful. Lots of interesting artifacts, guns, horses, and other American West memorabilia. Very impressive.

A nice museum now called Museum of the American West. Great way to spend 2-4 hours, under 10 per person. They have some natural history exhibits. Early settlers and native Indians. Also have some historical and cultural collections.

This was a nice museum if you like western items. The wagons they had on display were very interesting and quite a collection. It was small so you probably don't need more than 1 - 1-1/2 hours. It is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it's a nice diversion from other activities.

This museum is full of culture and fascinating displays. Always present is the collection of horse drawn carriages and old ranch tools and memorabilia. Late summer there was an outstanding art quilt show by members of SAQA, New Mexico and it was outstanding. According to museum schedule this show with all new material will be coming in mid August again.... More

The free display outside about the various breeds is informational. The museum is just a collection of guns, carriages and a few historical pieces and pictures of the area. We went because it was hot and we aren't big shoppers! It's worth an hour of your time, and the video about the guns of Billy the Kid is insightful, however... More

This is a nice museum, but it is small. I spent approximately two hours there. I found it informative, I wish they had more stuff. The person who ran the gift shop was very nice. This is not a bad museum and I would go again.

We went to this small museum on a rainy morning. There were not many people there and we had great opportunity to meet up with a volunteer by the name of Obie. He brought the place to life for us. His information about the museum collection and the lives of the people connected to it were wonderful. Thank you, Obie.

I will admit I am NOT usually a fan of museum's. However, when we drove by and saw the large horse statues outside we were intrigued and decided to explore the museum. It was myself, my husband and our two daughters (ages 1 and 4). We all had a great time. The highlight was the small play area for the... More
