The theater is a beautiful place on the hill for events. We attended during summer vacation in August of 2013. This trip will be attending two event for our 2014 trip. The sound and seating arrangement are good from all locations. Enjoy!!!!

One of the most unexpected finds in Lincoln County is the fabulous Spencer Theater out on Highway 220 minutes from Ruidoso, New Mexico. We have gone to several broadway type shows at the theater and have enjoyed every single show. The theater is laid out in an awesome manner and I do not believe there is a bad seat in... More

We have been to a few shows at the Spencer Theater and we always enjoy them. It's a smallish theater so there really are no bad seats. If you are attending a show like West Side Story be sure to get a seat in the first row in the balcony. The view is spectacular. They have a fully stocked bar... More

I went to the Spencer Theater to see the Broadway Revisited show. Not only was it a truly spectacular performance featuring the stars of real broadway shows(Phantom of the Opera for instance), but I got an excellent seat at a fair price since I had reserved ahead of time. I came in the wrong entrance to happen across the roll... More

I attended two performances and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, acoustics, and seating. The buffet wasn't particularly tasty; but it was filling and at the theatre site.

The show was fantastic and the building itself was awesome. The people who were working were so helpful and so friendly. This was our first visit to the Spencer Theater but we will be coming back again

We have been to the Spencer Theater eight or nine times and loved it every time. The place itself is worth seeing - full of beautiful art glass - and they offer a tour of the entire theater that is well worth your time. The shows we have seen there have all been great and we generally have dinner before... More

I traveled here in 10th grade with my Drama class and we had so much fun. I cant wait to take my kids there to watch some shows this December. I just wish there were cheaper tickets especially for the children venues. All in all I love Spencer!

We drove out to see the Spencer Theater.. We missed the tour time, but were allowed into the lobby to see some of the beautiful glass artworks. It is located in a lovely area of mountains vistas.

A wonderful performance by the 2013 Van Cliburn gold Medal winner, Vadim Kholodenko. The theatre is intimate with very good sound. Beautiful Chihully glass installations.
