I think it's a very nice Zoo, and Park. I'm a Zoo Nut I have been to many Zoo's around the counrty, and in Texas. It may not be big as some people think it should be, but their's isn't as good as they think it is. Compaired to the Houston Zoo and Park. So Roswell be happy to have... More

I mean, i get it's free I shouldn't complain, but it was just bad. I've been to small town zoo's before and they were better than this. More

This zoo isn't large, but it is nice for a stroll where you get to see some cool animals for free. It is connected to a good size park with a playground (that had many kids the whole time we were there). Loved the gorgeous peacocks, the black bear and the owl in particular. More

Free, uncrowded, and overall pretty decent. Do NOT expect a major metropolitan zoo, but it's a very nice morning event. Probably best enjoyed in nice weather....better for people and the animals, who tend to be more active. More

This was nice to get to walk through and it has a park for the kids to run even more energy off. The best thing about it is that it is free. The animals were very cute and fun. More

We spent a lovely afternoon here--in fact, we stayed for so long that we barely had time to run through the Roswell Museum and Art Center before it closed (what little we saw looked great) and completely missed Alien Zone, which had sounded like fun. But our big kids still like animals and the outdoors best, and so the zoo... More

I have been going to this park for thirty years. My parents and I would eat lunch when the visited me at NMMI. Now we visit with our kids. The Zoo is free and well maintained by a dedicated staff. This non-profit park highlights what can be done locally my good citizens! More

We visited the zoo one afternoon in Roswell. The concession stand and the train ride weren't open, but I think it was because we went in the middle of the week and school may have already been in session. The animals are easy to see and very easy to photograph. One of the deer came right up to the fence... More

The train ride is cool but there needs to be more animals and more attractions at this zoo. More
