This visitor center is located just in the middle of the town on the Main Street. Working staff there was very nice and informative. They directed me to few places an advise me on their hours of operations. Nice parking and clean washrooms.

Small place. I stopped because the mailbox is painted like R2D2. Inside, you can find information on a lot of what the area has to offer, and they sometimes host various things. The last one I went to was a gun show, but it was like all the others and a big let down.

So we started here on our main day around town. We already had a few places that we had decided on going but thought we would stop here for any suggestions. Plenty of pamphlets, brochures, books, and information was available. I was overwhelmed in fact since I wasn't sure what I was looking at all the time and since our... More

So lame it was embarrassing. It looked like they took 4th grade science projects and put them on display. For a city that only claim to fame is an event that happened in the 50's I would think they would put more effort into making it a stellar attraction, not a joke.

A good stop to pick up information about Roswell and NM. The alien there is a good photo op. There are movie-like posters to photograph and the mail box outside is painted like R2D2.
