We returned to Red River this winter and had a great time. (i put this review in a couple of months ago but apparently it did not save). We got 13" of snow while we were there. My 6 year old granddaughter, Sophie, went to ski school. Banker Bob was her instructor and she got to the top of the... More

Red River is a picturesque, friendly little ski town. We have been many times (the most recent trip with a couple of teenagers), and can't wait to go again.

I have lost count of how many friends and family, plus me, have learned to ski here. This is a smaller, friendlier and less expensive place that is perfect for beginners. I like how they have a couple levels of beginner areas before dumping you out into the bigger mountain. The blue and gold chairs make up a beginner area... More

This trip was a first time ski trip for my wife and I. We both really enjoyed learning to ski at this ski area. the lessons were well directed, the lessons slops were challenging but appropriate. The ski trails were both fun and challenging. The facilties were nice and the people were friendly. this is definately a family ski area... More

The size of the mountain is good for beginners and intermediates. Lift lines were not busy and trails were groomed daily. Lift was easy walk from our hotel. Every Saturday is a torchlight parade which was free and fun to watch from the Lift House.

It is off the beaten trail a bit and smaller than the big name places - but really cute and the people are great. The only downside is that my wife does not ski and she did not have much to do in this little town. But if you are a skier and have kids - it is nice.

December 2011 was the first time i visited Red River Ski Area with my family and we had such a great experience i decided to return in 2013. This time i called an old friend that i grew up with in Colorado and asked him to go. We had zero lift lines and the people were very friendly. Red River... More

Good choice for a unique activity. Riding in the coach was fun for everyone in our family. The dinner was the best we had during our trip. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and salmon was also very good.

This was our first trip to Red River. We were there for 3 days during Spring break (3/17/2013) but because our week off was a week later than most, it turned out to be a blessing - we actually missed the usual Spring break crowds. That meant that the mountain was not as crowded and there were practically no lines... More

We were in RR for the last 5 days of their ski season. Everyone at the resort was extremely helpful and polite. It had been 20 years since I last skied, so I took a lesson from Rich. He was very positive and gave you simple things to work on. The snow was icy and it made many of the... More
