Upon arrival at the mountain, all slopes for beginners were closed with the exception of one. The "easiest way down" from the top of the mountain was labeled as a green slope but was steeper in most parts than some of the blues. Also, the easiest way down from the top of the mountain was closed so you had to... More

Very efficient school, the ski instructors were amazing to the kids. Easy check-in and pick-up and the kids got to learn something new! Easy for the parents!

Amazing ski area! Awesome staff and family friendly atmosphere. A very unpretentious resort. The bunny slope got crowded by 9am, but that's to be expected during peak season.

Good place to learn to ski. Lots of green slopes and a good variety of lessons for first timers. Employees are friendly and very helpful.

95% man made snow but surprisingly good skiing. Midway was as high as you can go up the mountain due to lack of snow. No lift lines. $40 dollar lift tickets. $10 dollar ski rental. Great weekend getaway for novice and beginners. The trip down the hill gets a little redundant since there is only one way down. Awesome for... More

We have stay at the Arrowhead lodge 3 times now. We love it there, it's just close enough to walk around town. The lodge is pretty much in the center of town, surrounded by restaurants and little shops. The nice couple that own the lodge are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The whole... More

Both of our older boys learned to ski in Red River. We were so impressed by how good the instructors are with the kiddos. Our 7 year old learned this weekend and had a fabulous experience. It's a great place for our family every Thanksgiving! !! Thanks again for another great experience.

It was our first time and it was beautiful. We went on a jeep tour and the ski lift. We sat by the beautiful river in the evenings and enjoyed nature. The best place we ate was Timbers and for breakfast Olde Timers but you better get there early for breakfast or you will stand in line for a while.
