This is one of the many things we enjoy doing when we travel out to Red River. The employees are super nice and they'll take your picture for a later purchase at another location. I keep forgetting that there is a bar and grill up top but we usually just enjoy the ride and spectaculor view. Definitely worth the price... More

The ski area is open all summer. You can take the chair lift to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view from the top. While there you can hike among the aspens, enjoy some mountain frisbee golf, bike back down or just relax and enjoy the 360 degree views. Keep a look out for deer, bear and other... More

We took the chair lift ride to the top of the mountain and it was beautiful. We saw all kinds of wildlife and deer and then could overlook the entire beautiful town from the top of the mountain. It is a cheap ticket and well worth doing.

In the summer, this lift is running for folks to travel up to the bar and grill at the top of the ski runs..beer and burger joint. The lift ride takes about an hour round trip so with time at the top, You will spend a couple hours of your day. Cost is $15 per person.

Big Horns is a great place to rent all of your ski needs. He was very helpful in selecting equipment. Warning wear very warm socks and layers of clothing... More

There is a place in town called Mike's Fun Place...... they rent UTV's, jeeps and have rock climbing and little mini cars to drive around town. Mike is an extremely NICE guy and if you are in the area you must go by there and take a UTV up on the Pioneer trail and up to Goose Lake!!! Best summer... More

Lovely little town like something from a Garrison Keillor narrative. A real treat for anyone who wants to escape the stresses of the big city

What great spring skiing! The Red River Ski Area did a great job grooming the mountain and making it a pleasant mountain to ski in the spring. We would recommend it to anyone.

My mid-March trip to Red River Ski Area was my first ever ski trip, so I can't compare Red River with any other ski resorts. I can grade it based on my experiences, though. First, I was very pleased with the pre-trip planning resources on the ski area's website. The details of the various packages and service were spelled out... More
