Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive. « less

the spa is amazing! It is not only an indoor spa with excellent treatments (facials, massages) but outdoor experiences in all the mineral pools in a very tranquil and beautiful setting. Each pool is unique (love the arsenic pools) and leaves you feeling relaxed like no other spa I've been to. The blue skies, quiet, and waters are very cool.... More

Almost my favorite place in NM wonderful hot springs and a mud bath and arsenic pool. Massages extra. Fantastic restaurant and gift shop on premises surrounded by majestic mountain setting. Off the beaten path but with a good mountain map you can proceed to Taos in 27 miles There is a whispering policy so be prepared to relax!

As part of a birthday celebration in Sante Fe, we spent a day in May at Ojo. The scenery is beautiful, and the baths are lovely. Massage was fine, but room in men's area where it was was next to pools where people were quite loud. I have been there before and it was much quieter. There were many loud... More

This very old attraction looked a little dated at first. Then we got into the first of several hot mineral pools and my perspective changed. No loud talk. No boisterous horse play, just relaxation. If you want a full spa treatment or private mineral pool it is available. Mud pools are also available. This was just a great rustic place... More

After living in New Mexico since 2009, I finally made it to Ojo Caliente. I loved the various pools (Mud, Arsenic, Lithia, Soda, Iron) and appreciated the explanations about and benefits of each one written out for reference. With more than 300 sunny days in NM, we experienced one of the best of days there. After you register, once you... More

The hot pools were nice but they sure want a lot of money to soak. WEAR shoes as the concrete surface is either slick (in the shower, locker area) or VERY rough (near hot pools). The only pool that I enjoyed was "iron" pool which was labeled as 104 degrees but didn't feel that hot. The smell from the minerals... More

Dear Guest, We are so pleased you were able to visit Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs and enjoyed the historic Iron Pool. As a point of reference, all of our 11 pools are filled with sulfur-free, geothermal mineral waters and range in temperature from 80-105 degrees. We decided to upgrade this time for our stay in Ojo for our anniversary. We rented a Cliffside suite. We stayed in a quaint old cabin last time and thought this sounded like luxury. There is one sink and counter for BOTH the kitchen and the bathroom combined. We had to cover all the food with towels so I could... More

The pools were lovely and the service was great. We stayed at the cottages on the property (which weren’t so great) so were given a robe and many towels which was nice. BRING BOTTLED WATER!!! The mineral water for drinking may be great for some people, but we found it to upset our stomachs and cause a bloated feeling. The... More

Nothing surpasses the natural mineral springs at Ojo Caliente. They are open air, inexpensive, and attract a wide variety of clients. That being said, there are a few things that could improve the experience: softer walking surfaces, more welcoming staff, and less of a "nickel & dime" attitude. The price should include more than one small towel, no lock for... More

Total impromptu trip to these hot springs. I was super excited to visit but wasn't too impressed. I've been to a lot of spas, and this wasn't the most impressive. Especially for the price. The boy and I got massages. He loved his deep tissue massage and I had a custom massage. If you spend 150$ per person, you get... More
