Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive. « less

Visited Ojo Caliente as part of a family trip with teen boys and a group of adults. This is an incredibly healing and relaxing place even if you don't opt for the spa treatments. The soda, arsenic and iron pools along with traditional steam, sauna and jacuzzi will melt away whatever stresses you're carrying. The mud bath leaves your skin... More

We've been many times to this incredible desert oasis. It never fails to make me forget about everything except clouds lazily rolling through the sky. I like how OC has moved some of the pools around - it's just so relaxing, unassuming and soothing. I really love that the other guests don't have that uppity attitude some other places do.... More

Ojo Caliente was the perfect spot for me and my best friend to spend several hours during our trip to Taos. We both booked massages, including a Kokopelli pregnancy massage for her, and the massages were lovely but we hardly needed them. The pools and lounge areas were perfect for the relaxation we needed. The pools were comfortable for all... More

What an incredibly special place! Ojo is laid back, and upscale rustic..upscale because their services and property are very very nice, rustic because its tucked back near cliffs and so earthy and grounding. This trip was a day trip...soak, massage, soak, glass of sangria and appetizers, then home. It felt like a vacation! The soaking pools are so comfortable, no... More

I went to Ojo Caliente with my mom a couple of weeks ago and spent the day there. For only $30, you get access to the mineral pools, the mud bath, the sauna and the steam room. The springs are all very warm and relaxing and you're guaranteed to make a few new friends. I recommend getting there around 3:30... More

Ojo Caliente is very unique (and other-worldly) in that it has some of the most mineral rich hot springs on planet earth. You will enjoy individual inviting pools of arsenic, iron, lithium and other healing waters here that are not found in most areas of the U.S. There is also a large pool where children are permitted before 6:00 PM,... The folks at Ojo Caliente know how to do relaxation. When I want to unwind I go solo or with only 1 friend or husband. This is a quiet place, not a chatty hang out. Get there around 8-9 am and soak in the hot springs, hang out in the garden area, and just chill out. Read and watch the... More

My girlfriends and I went to Ojo as a day trip from Santa Fe. It's about an hour away and they recommend that you arrive an hour early to soak in the pools before your treatment. We spent time in the iron and soda pools and then headed in for our treatments. One of my friends had the Rejuvenator treatment... More

Huge thanks to you and your girlfriends for joining us for some summer R&R! While I'm glad to hear that it sounds like most of you were very pleased with the experience, I want to clear some things up about the Youthful Glow Face Therapy: It's unlike a traditional facial in that it's gentle. We use special rejuvenating products to... More

Was on vacation in the area and went to the spa on Monday and Thursday. Monday was a bit more crowded than Thursday, though the pools still had plenty of space. Cost is $18 per person for all public pools and includes a towel. Showers and lockers are free and locks are for sale or you can bring your own.... More
