Owner description: Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

This is a healing place -- and worth the drive even for just a day pass. The mineral pools are relaxing. After soaking for about an hour, we each had 80 minute deep tissues massages. They were average massages. The locker rooms are clean. Although the grounds are a bit dated, the overall ambience is one of healing and quiet... More

This is a very special place. Lots of history for Native Americans as well frontiersman. The place continues to evolve, mostly for the better. Good staff doing their best with friendly, helpful attitudes. The down side are the few people attending who insist on speaking at considerably louder than whispers. I know it is an on going problem usually associated... More

Amazing, amazing place! Nestled in the hills of New Mexico, Ojo Caliente is an unexpected area of bliss in the middle of the arid desert. It can be crowed at times, I went once on a week day and once on a weekend and there were noticeably more visitors on the weekend, but it's always a lovely place to spend... More

We have visited Ojo Caliente many times. Our most recent, for the New Year's holiday. No, there weren't fireworks at the resort but if you are looking for one of the most relaxing places on the planet, be sure to make this a destination spot. The spa therapists are all licensed and highly trained. Fantastic massage and very comfortable spa... More

This hot springs is a nice place to soak if like developed, commercial springs. Under normal circumstances these springs are very nice for this but beware during the Christmas New Years holidays - it is crowded, very noisy and more expensive. The whisper zone policy at this place is not enforced so don't go there expecting meditative quality settings. Not... More

Beautiful drive in from Taos and easy to find! We were impressed from the moment we arrived...fantastic guest relations, friendly and informative of the services available without pretention. We enjoyed several of the pools/springs while we visited for the day, (all uniquely therapeutic). Being a Tuesday, it was nice and quiet...would recommend going during the week to avoid the crowds.... More

We have been visiting this beautiful oasis for over 20 years now. The improvements that have been made make this a unique trip.
