Description: Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded...
Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

We've gone here for years, the last time 6 years ago when they expended. New changes this time, which also included a rather "uppity" attitude. People constantly walking around with signs telling you to "Shhhhh" or outright - BE QUIET -- even when you were whispering to someone! They had a small nail sticking out of a wooden shelving unit... We go to Ojo as much as possible when we are in the Santa Fe area and have always had a solid soak experience. With multiple baths, mud pool, and sauna, it's good for a 3+ hour experience. Additionally, the food from the restaurant is decent. Recommendation: - Go during a weekday if possible to avoid crowds and save a... More

We went here for couples weekend and both got massages. They were the absolute best either of us had ever had! We also got a private soak area with a fireplace and it was unforgettable

Yes, relaxing. Yes, interesting temperatures and pools. Yes, nice that it is natural. But....either we went when too crowded (Ski season, afternoon) or....there were simply too many rowdy tourists, therefore, not as relaxing as I had hoped. Also, I say go at night since it seems like a "tired" facility....maybe it's due to the natural springs, but things seemed TOO... More

We used the spa only and did not stay overnight. This is the place to relax - the thermal water pools are amazing! My favorite was the iron pool followed by the arsenic pool. The mud bath was incredible. Bathroom facilities were adequate and included showers/soap, shampoo. You can arrange additional services, like massages. Can't wait to return!

This is a great place to give yourself a well deserved treat. The massage there is great. Ask for Chris (female) or Aaron (male) if you want a good masseuse. The warm to hot nautral pool waters are refreashing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is a must. You can eat in your provided robe. I had... More

My friend and I went to Ojo for my birthday. We loved the location, the spa, the waters, the restaurants and on and on. Our room was in the old hotel and didn't have a shower. Not much of a problem, you just go to the spa to shower. If it matters to you though, ask if you will staying... More

I am local and often bring visitors to this great spa and hotel for some realization and spa treatments. Their facility is constantly improving and adding new gardens each time I visit. My husband and I took a trip to Ojo this year. We stayed in the clean, but funky Taos trails inn. I had stayed there before as it is more reasonably priced than the Spa. I just returned from a trip to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs. I had read some mixed reviews and I would agree with them.
