Owner description: Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

We had a wonderful time at Ojo Caliente! There are at least 6 different pools to sit in, each with a different mineral. They were hot, but not uncomfortably so. There was a wide range of people, but everyone was respectful of the space of others and pretty much kept to themselves. We both had massages, which were very good... More

The waters are spectacular! I recommend reserving a private pool for your soak. I'm from Albuquerque and my girlfriend and I visit a different mineral hot spring every month. Ojo Caliente Resort and Spa is definitely a resort. Weekends are very busy and the mineral pools are set up very much like hot tubs around a pool deck with a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind review and recommendation! We are so glad to know that you enjoyed your recent visit to Ojo. Soaking in one of our private pools, all featuring Kiva fireplaces, is a great option for our guests and the setting against the cliffs is particularly beautiful, especially at night. Thank you again for your feedback.... More

If the mineral baths and the massage were not pretty good, the rating would have been Poor. The property is pretty interesting and gives you a feel of the 1800's, the hot baths were nice and I would give them a very good for that portion, however the Men's locker room was the worst I have ever used. It was... More

We came on valentines day 2015. Although busy, we still were able to enjoy ourselves. A few recommendations: - plan ahead and book a room so that you can stay for a few days or have a private place to retreat to away from the crowds. - bring a robe and towels - bring 1 swimsuit per day - bring... Private, public, soda, arsenic, lithium, mud, indoor, outdoor...lots of ways to soak your bones. Parts of the property might be dated, parts are newer. Par for the course for a facility that has been around for well over 50 years. My wife and I were on a day trip from Albuquerque. Day pass reasonably priced at $18. Very nice lunch... More

This was amazing and part of a week tour of NM! My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and this was beautiful to experience. We were able to reserve a private bath at night. There was a sitting area with a fire place and the whole area lit up to see the back drop of the mountains. We... More

My husband and I were looking for an activity to do on a not-so-good weather day in early December for our 15th anniversary. After exploring their web site we signed up for the couples private pool soak and massage on lightly rainy day. How fortunate for us since we had not put this on our wish list for the trip.... More

This is a healing place -- and worth the drive even for just a day pass. The mineral pools are relaxing. After soaking for about an hour, we each had 80 minute deep tissues massages. They were average massages. The locker rooms are clean. Although the grounds are a bit dated, the overall ambience is one of healing and quiet... More

This is a very special place. Lots of history for Native Americans as well frontiersman. The place continues to evolve, mostly for the better. Good staff doing their best with friendly, helpful attitudes. The down side are the few people attending who insist on speaking at considerably louder than whispers. Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing a review of your recent visit to Ojo. We do regret that your otherwise positive experience was somewhat marred by noisy guests.
