Description:

Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary....

Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

We have been coming to Ojo Caliente for more than a few years, and have seen it transform from a rustic oasis to a more modern facility with more amenities, albeit at a price. We have stayed at the RV Park (before it had toilets or showers and cost $40/day), the Historic Hotel (still without showers and a bit noisy... More

Great food, rooms, and mineral pools! Our go-to spot for northern New Mexico romantic retreat! Booking a private mineral pool with kiva offers an extra special amenity around sunset or after nightfall,, a better option than outdoor tub with the room itself.

We only spent one afternoon here on our recent trip to Santa Fe. We had no idea what to expect when we went, only that we wanted to spend time at a hot springs. While staying in Santa Fe we opted to drive up to Ojo Caliente its a nice drive that takes about 50 minutes. This place is located in a beautifully scenic valley that sets the mood for meditation and relaxation. The mud bath treatment is a must. Make sure and take a pair of sandals as none are provided also bathing... More

Our first time there - four of us signed up for afternoon time to 1. try each of the different mineral springs pools (sulfur, soda, arsenic, combination and mud bath), 2. get an 80 minute deep tissue massage, 3. hand around the dry heat and steam heat saunas, and 4. head back to the hot spring pools to watch the... For a place that's nothing short of romantic. My wife and I took many lover's walks along our journey through the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs and Spa. Others were as well taking in the splendor of the romantic ambiance that this place captivates and holds you hostage to and all it's romantic tendencies. Ha! No, but seriously, this place is... We stayed in the North cabins and it was very noisy. We would have been better off staying in the hotel and would have been a cheaper option. Dump trucks, diesels, And backhoes made the stay less tranquil than I would have hoped for. Also, the pool temps were cold and only one was hot enough to sit in during... More

Stayed in the north cottages; very clean, well-kept. Many types of hot spring pools, including extra-hot 'lobster pot' type. Highly recommend splurging for a nighttime private pool with the kiva fireplace. Private pools have views of the canyon rocks; impressive, but be sure to bring a warm wrap for your post-pool time as nights are cold.

So close to Santa Fe, but far enough to make for a wonderful day trip. The air temperature was about 42 degrees, but the waters were warm and I loved sitting at the base of such interesting rock formations.
