Description: Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded...
Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

Haven't been in a long time, many lovely upgrades to OC. With that, it has gotten much more crowded. Great pools to relax in. Wish the customers were a bit more rule friendly. Supposed to be a whisper zone, but folks having inane conversations everywhere. Also, you are not supposed to wear sunscreen in the pools unless it is natural,... More

Great hot springs but can be overwhelmed on weekends. We visited in June so kids abound .Stay overnight and you can enjoy it in peace when daytrippers go home. Hotel facilities are old and roof swamp cooler units may make your room sound like there is a jet on the roof. Restaurant is great.

This review is specifically for the RV campground at Oja Caliente Resort. This a a small campground with water/electric hookups located a short walk to the mineral pools and spa. They have added a new bath house to the campground with nice showers. It was clean and appeared to be tended to on a regular basis. Nothing really special about... More

We spent a week in Taos skiing and set aside a little time near the end of our trip to soak here. It is absolutely worth the drive to get there! It has several different springs of different temperatures so you can try them all and stay in the ones you like most. I did a yoga class while my... More

Mud bath and bake with hot mineral springs that cure whatever ails you. Various types of springs with privacy levels according to your needs. Reasonable priced so you can partake and really relax. Oh! If you are at all thinking about going to this mineral springs resort spa, do please go! It is just a 50-minute drive west of Taos. My friend and I spent a Sunday and Monday there, staying overnight in one of the Plaza Suite rooms. The Plaza, Pueblo and Cliffside Suite guests get an extra advantage of access to... More

I have been going to this place for around 20 years. Quiet getaway. We always looked forward to it for rejuvenation and relaxation. I sat in the falling snow many time in the outdoors there, but last time we went it was horrible GOt so upscale, and there were so many people in one of the pools with sun tan... More

My husband and I tried the mineral bath recommended for arthritis and, after the first shock of heat, soon relaxed in our private pool. We each had an individual massage, the best I've ever had. We finished our day in the Artesian Restaurant at Ojo. I had a wrap sandwich which was more than enough to eat. I also had... More

This was one of the nicest mineral springs experiences I have had. Although there was an initial sense of "crowded" upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon, this sense abated once in the many pools. The baths and grounds were wonderfully maintained and beautiful. The a/c for the historic hotel room was noisy but the room was spacious and the beds... More

This is the second time going to Ojo. We love it! The mud pool is my favorite. It is a whole body mud mask and leaves you skin silky soft. When the sun is to intense relax inside the "cave" like hot spring building. Next go to the iron pool and work out sore feet over the smooth rocks on... More
