This particular establishment is no longer at the Mesilla location. Google "Casa Camino Real" in nearby Las Cruces for current status and address. Also, at least one review here sounds like they were actually at the NM Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces, NM.

What we liked about this place is that it gives you a snapshot of what is going on in town and a bit of history. Like festivals and events. The downtown area is very picturesque and that is what attracted us to this place.

Lots... More

I'm glad I stopped the first time. I see no reason to go back. I have to type at least 100 characters, but I said it all.

Denise Chavez, the museum's director, is a fountain of knowledge about NM history and the Hispanic culture. It was fun to talk to her about Billy the Kid and then to see her in the PBS American Experience show on Billy the Kid.

I enjoyed the informational flyers and the stories some of the guests had about Mesilla. Every story from UFO sightings to out of this world dining experiance with movie stars. This place is a must visit for New Mexico
