It's not a diner, just full of biker themed souvenirs (mugs, magnets, shirts, patches) The cashier didn't say much. We spent a few minutes browsing and bought a mug for a friend.

The next time my cousin cruises in from Okla. on his Harley I'm sending him to this place. They specialize in all things Harley, etc. It fits right into Madrid, which is also a great nostalgia trip for people who miss or never got over the 1960's. Trust me---you will find all kinds of kindred spirits in Madrid. This tiny... More

Madrid, NM where parts of "Wild Hogs" was filmed is a nice small town. There are plenty of shops, and a couple of restaurants along with a Soda Fountain. Maggie's Diner was in fact just a movie set, not a Diner. Now it is a souvenir shop cashing in on it's movie star status.

I was with a group of friends on a trip making a circuit that went through Santa Fe. We knew Madrid wasn't too far away, so rode out specifically because we knew Maggie's was still there, even though its a gift/souvenir shop and not a diner. If you're on a bike, the ride in from the south is probably the... More

It is truly nothing special to see but if you are in Madrid you may as well stop here. This store is commemorating its glorious past as a movie set. Nowadays it is a store to buy a shirt or a souvenir at. It is not a diner contrary to the sign.

So we heard Madrid was the up and coming artistic place in NM. Sorry - pretty much thought it was dirty. As was Maggie's. Junk, movie paraphenalia all over the place. Please know - this is not a diner. Evidently some have made that mistake. All that being said, we ride motorcycles and we did like the movie Wild Hogs...... More

If you are in Madrid you of course have to stop in here, especially if you've seen Wild Hogs. But don't just stop here, wander up and down the street to see other great curio shops.

Maggie's is basically the only easily recognizable place in Madrid from the movie "Wild Hogs." As such, it is worth stopping at, buying a T-Shirt and getting a couple of pictures. The people there are friendly and used to people there simply because of the movie.
