Our only regret when visiting this museum was we didn't have any kids with us. We visited on a cool sunny day & the farm animals were active. We had no idea there was such a variety of farming and ranching activity in new Mexico. The main building is inviting & the exhibits are well thought out and displayed beautifully.... More

The museum has a wide array of 19th and early 20th century farming and ranching equipment, pictures and profiles of rural life. Well worth the visit!

Great for kids and adults. Knowledgeable staff. Very clean and new. Owls at front entrance were very cool. Lots of history and old + modern equipment to be seen.

This museum is nestled in the desert overlooking the spectacular Organ Mountains of Las Cruces on Dripping Springs Road. I find the museum to be a local treasure for residents and visitors alike. They have unique exhibits relating to New Mexico's incredible history. They also have art exhibits from local artists. The whole family will learn about the historical and... More

We went a few years ago when the prices were much lower, and again recently. The kids liked the hands-on exhibits and seeing the animals. There were sections with mostly photography the kids were not interested in. The gift store is pricey. When we came back last year, we were surprised by a big jump in the price of admission.... More

AAA rated this as a gem. The NM Farm & Ranch Museum's website is quite informative and I looked forward to an exceptional visit today. Unfortunately, I have to respectfully disagree with the gem rating for any visit that's not in conjunction with a special event. The exhibits were fine, but seeing live demos and reenactments would have made all... More
