This musical is so well done and the theater was almost full. The singers for the parts of Esther and Rose are excellent and so expressive in their acting. I'm not sure there are many more performances, but this one is a treat. It's complete with Roman candles and lots of lights at the end, indicating the 1904 World's Fair... More

Many of my friends perform in different plays during the course of the year. My husband has performed here, as well as the Black Box. It's nice to see local talent. I had a friend who said come see this play I'm in. I had no idea she could sing and dance and perform the way she did...what a treat...check... More

We've given LCCT more than one chance to live up to the reviews but we have never even been able to stay through a single performance. In the first place, if you aren't sitting on the 1st row, don't expect to hear anything. There is an occasional moment of brilliance and creativity here and there but the shows are typically... To end their 50th year celebration, LCCT is putting on the musical, "The Best Little --house in Texas". The singing and dancing are great. The costumes fit the setting. The stage decoration is minimal -- they flashed up pictures on the screen befitting the setting and sometimes they rolled out a Victorian settee. The leads were great. The fellow who played... More

This is a community theatre in a small community, and they make a heroic effort with what they've got. Just don't come expecting Broadway.

My wife and I love taking in plays at the LCCT, the cast is always lively and the choices of plays are always entertaining. Gala nights offer a meal after the show and a chance to talk with the performers.

This is a wonderful little theatre and a great theatre group. It is always nice to see local community people expressing themselves in something they enjoy

We have had nothing but one disappointment after the other with this theater. The shows are poorly directed and poorly cast. Most of the time we can't hear the actors and the movement on stage makes very little sense. The only good thing I can say about this theater is that the sets are wonderful. After that initial moment of... More

If you like community theater at a reasonable price, this is it. Sometimes the plays or musicals are very light fare, such as the "Nunsense" muscals, but sometimes there is heavier fare, such as "On Golden Pond." The shows are usually well executed and a pleasure to watch. The price is right-- $10 for adults and $9 for seniors. The... More
