Description: The Giggling Springs Hot Springs is located at the site of the earliest...
The Giggling Springs Hot Springs is located at the site of the earliest Bath House in the Jemez Springs area, and before that, the mineral water was used by the Native Americans of the area. Our water comes from deep beneath the Valles Caldera (ancient volcano) up the mountain. It is ancient sea water abundant with a relaxing and therapeutic blend of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, silica, sodium and more. The source is 139 degrees F, but the pool is kept at a comfortable 102-104 degrees. The water is natural, and no chlorine or chemicals are added. We use ultraviolet light, ionizers and an oxygen inversions system to disinfect the water, and it is a flow-through pool, so the water changes out regularly. Swim suits are required, children 14 and over are welcome, and, for the comfort of our guests, the number of people allowed in at one time is limited--so reservations are recommended.

Giggling Springs was such a nice and relaxing way to end our pretty active vacation in New Mexico. We had never visited the state and were looking forward to experiencing new things in a variety of cities across northern and central NM. Giggling Springs was an awesome and unique way to see Jemez Springs and it was so fun and... More

After hiking the Tent Mountains, my son and I were looking for a way to relax our muscles from a number of days of hiking. I went on-line and found Giggling Springs - who can resist the name. Called and booked a reservation. Even though this was nearly 70 miles out of our way it was worth it. We were... More

I loved this hot springs! My dear friends brought me, to start a trip of cleansing and release in New Mexico. Giggling Springs was the perfect start! I will go back when I'm in the area... I'm addicted and it's quiet & quaint. Perfect for soaking & meditating.

We were so blessed to chance upon this place while just passing through Jemez. Usually one needs a reservation, but we were able to walk in and be the only ones there! The spring pool was not just lukewarm like other springs I've been to, but hot like 104ish I would say. The owner was extremely amiable and even gave... More

We ( my husband and I ) arrived at Giggling Springs and was met by Tanya . She was very nice and gave us a tour of the place , which we found to be clean and nicely decorated. We purchased the two hour package deal , thinking it would be more than enough time . Turns out we could... More

The Spring water comes up at 148° but the oxygenation vents keep the pool at 100° in the big pool and at 103° in the small pool. You come out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after an hour. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the dressing area is a single room for both men and... More

Spent a luxurious hour soaking in the springs completely alone, sipping fruit smoothies, watching the hummingbirds play. Not the worst hour of our lives for sure!

Hot springs are a nice spot to sit and enjoy the springs. They will also bring you out a frosty beverage when it's too hot. On the negative side, it's in the middle of no where.

Giggling Springs is a funky hot springs with the most beautiful Turquoise water. There is a nominal fee to use the property, but they limit the number allowed in. We were the only people there. The Springs are on the bank of the Jemez River with landscaped grounds, hammock, chairs, dressing rooms and an old cabin. Nice people run the... More

This was my favorite part of the trip. It was little mini paradise. The staff was very friendly and amazingly attentive. The pool was perfect, clean and refreshing.
