The Bath House, built in 1876, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Water issues from the spring at 159-189F. Some water is diverted into holding tanks overnight to cool so that bathers have control over the water temperature. We have 8 oversized cement tubs; they are private & individual so no swimsuit is required. We also offer wraps and massage. Visit our newly renovated Gift Shop for wonderful gifts & souvenirs.

After I proposed to my now wife 15 years ago we went to the Bath House on the long way back to Albuquerque from Santa Fe. Back then there was an outdoor tub. We soaked in it while snowflakes the size of a quarter floated down. I guess it was an omen for the idyllic life with this great woman... More

We stopped by to check prices -- hadn't come prepared to use the facility, but they have a birthday special of a free half-hour soak within one week of your birthday, and I qualified. (They also have a $3 discount for over 55.) We needed to rent towels ($1), and I rented a robe ($1), as I also got a... More

I won't add to others' descriptions but I will validate them. Imagine yourself a cowhand, or a miner, or a logger, or a middle-school teacher. You come in after a hard week's work. You want to RELAX your muscles and clean up before dinner. This is the place you will come to for a quiet, private soak, with gentle meditative... More

We spend a couple of nights in Jemez Springs and going to the Bath House was one of the highlights. Weirdly enough, there was a lightning storm going on at the time so we were not allowed to have the hot springs baths for safety reasons. Instead I walked through the rain to one of the best massages ever, in... More

We were so impressed with Jemez Springs Bath House. My husband is not usually comfortable at spas, but he throughly enjoyed his soak. I had a soak and a wrap- wonderful! They provide private, individual tubs where you control your water temperature. There is also a space with two tubs so couples can share their soak time. The staff are... More

I had a bath tub soak, wrap and massage at Jemez Springs Bath House. Last time I had the massage first, then the soak, then the wrap. This time I had the soak, wrap and then the massage. I think I liked the massage first. Next time I will probably only get the massage. The massage is the best ever.... More

Stopping in ABQ's Olde Town, we asked the tourism desk for help in finding a hot springs to enjoy. After researching, it was decided to call the Jemez Springs Bath House. A lovely, helpful woman answered the phone for reservations (recommended). She fit us in and we had to drive quite a ways to get there from ABQ, but well... More

It looked like a hippy-run place from the outside, which worried me a bit. But it was a well-run and maintained business inside. I soaked with my husband, side by side. I thought 25 minutes was too short for relaxing soak so I booked it for a 50 minutes soak. The staff thought 50 minutes for us beginners might be... More
