We had a wonderful time reading with New Wave rafting. Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable, fun and friendly. We felt like we were in good hands the whole time. Along with the great trip, we had a nice lunch and learned a lot about the river. We would definitely use New Wave again.

Loved our Rio Grande Gorge rafting trip with our expert guide CJ. She made the trip! Taught us how to paddle (I was a first timer) and was a wealth of information on birds, trees and history of the gorge. She was funny too! The morning was relaxing in the quieter section but there was lots to talk about and... More

What a great experience. Never thought I could White Water Raft, but viola I did! Many thanks to our wonderful Guide Joe. He was fantastic, knowledgeable and just great fun! The scenery incredible, lunch on the river perfect and the White water, totally out of control. Here's to you company for providing a safe rafting trip. Here's to Joe our... More

We did a half day tour with Britt on August 22. There were four in our party and two others. Britt was fantastic! As the reviewer below wrote, he was great in explaining the geology and biology of the river and was amazing steering the boat. He let our two 14 year old girls swim through several sections and they... More

A great river guide makes the trip loads better, and Britt was one of the best. Our guide Britt gave us fun and interesting tidbits of info all along the way. He also let us float and let the river just carry us, when the going was nice and easy. Some river trips I've taken, the guide's main approach was... More

Families with kids need to be aware that there is a good possibility someone in your group will fall out of the raft. As adults, we can handle it, but my 8-year-old daughter was terrified to see her dad (and another adult person in our raft) fall into the rapids early in our trip. Our raft also filled with water... We appreciate the rating chosen by the reviewer, and regret that the events described detracted from the over-all experience. We ordinarily admit children of 6 years of age and up on this moderate (Class 3) trip, and observe that the great majority of children have a wonderful time, even better than their parents! But, as the reviewer stated, a trip... More

I have some adventurous people in my family who did not want a guide along for our first rafting experience out west. We've done several types of float trips over the years - raft floating, canoeing, etc and had always dreamed of doing a rafting outting while on vacation in the west. This summer, all of our kids were finally... More

New Wave Rafting is first rate, A+, Blue Ribbon! You know you are in good hands with truly experienced guides. I really did not want to go on this adventure with my husband and two teen age sons, but the younger insisted. I had a total blast! The water was beautiful. The wildlife was amazing. But the most important aspect... More

My parents booked a rafting trip for our family of six. We had two seniors (65/70), two adults and two teenage boys (15/16). Jessie was our guide - he was very friendly and knowledgable. All of us went on the lazy part of the river first. It is basically a calm 2-ish hour float trip with nice views. Wear a... More

What an incredible day our family had with the whole crew but especially our guide Kathy! Our girls are 10,8, and 6 and were excited and able to handle the trip. The river was exciting enough for the whole family. Kathy was a wealth of information about the area and all the plants and animals. We will most definitely be... More
