How can anyone not like this museum? It's really huge in a small town. Has a large variety of topics, from dolls, to military, pianos, history, geology and artifacts. And, it's free!

Quality of interpretive information and organization wasn't impressive, but there's so much stuff located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, it almost doesn't matter.

I saw great reviews on TripAdvisor and at first I was surprised why people care to stop at this museum. First I was told to visit a room with collection of dolls and I didn't get it...but then it hit me. This museum was alive and it was witnessing and documenting all important events in the lives all of members... More

This is a first-rate museum seemingly unlikely in this small town. There is an exhibit of the Mimbres pottery, a collection of dolls, a collection of geodes, stagecoach/old fire trucks, and much more. Everything is well-displayed and the guides are very informative. A must-see for history buffs.

Dolls, cars, ancient pottery and fine china --- you can find them all at this museum. We discovered it late in the afternoon, about 20 minutes before closing time, and so did not have the opportunity to fully appreciate the displays. It was worth the price of admission though, and has a nice little gift shop.

I'm so impressed at the work that's gone into the museum over the years. It's much larger than when I was a kid and the quality of the exhibits is really impressive. Pioneer families are a focus, as well as an extensive Mimbreno pottery collection. Nice job.

We found this FANTASTIC little museum with great stuff from TA. Lots of treasures to look at here, we hurriedly spent two hours here before they closed, but I could have lingered a lot longer. The employees (might be volunteers), were all so super nice. I couldn't believe they don't charge admission. We easily left a $20 donation, well worth... More

We are not museum folks but we like this one. The volunteers have done an excellent job! It has a fantastic rock display too.

The vintage fire trucks, the extensive collection of bells, dolls, pottery, geodes, dishes..... There is a lot of information on the militarty in the area, as well as everyday... More

So many interesting exhibits, beautifully presented, that a person should really plan on several visits to take it all in.
