This place as magical worth the trip and the entrance fee $6 make sure to visit the mirrored room and find out about visiting the KIBA.

We were not expecting much - it was one of the least things to see on our culture pass and we had a day to kill. It was a wonderful surprise. They have some of the original ancient wall paintings on display. You also are able to decend via ladder into the kiva where they were found and see recreations... More

Yep, when Coronado came through here it was a living breathing Pueblo. Now, the ruins are maintained by the State Parks system and numerous organizations including the University of New Mexico. A very enjoyable and comfortable tour of about an hour of self-guided trails.

If you're going to Albuquerque and have time to spare, the Coronado Monument is worth a visit. The grounds are well care for and the walking trails are easy and FLAT.
