In our 11 days in Bhutan travelling from Paro to Thimphu to Punakha to Trongsa to Bumthang to Phobjika (including Takhsang), we think Kurje is probably the best. visit to burning lake ,kurje,jambay lhakhang ,jakar dzong and walk to tamshing ...are some of the best in the area. More

This is an important temple complex at the end of the paved road from Jakar. Alternatively it can be reached by a nice walk across the fields from Jampa Lhakhang.
