We hummed and haaaaa about doing this tour. We have snorkelled and dived some of the premium spots in the world so some of the reviews left us dreading what we were in store for. Firstly as I have mentioned in previous reviews Cambodia and Vietnam suffer from plastic pollution. It's here, it ain't going anywhere for now so you... More

We booked this tour (snorkelling and fishing in the north if the island) on the description of it including two separate island visits, fishing, snorkelling and sunbathing on the beach. It was very badly organised and overly crowded. The small boat that picked us up to take us to the boat was so crowded that a child nearly fell in... More

We went on the this tour with our teenage kids ! We all said it was a waste of time & money ! The food was terrible, cold & tasteless ! Pretty expensive drinks, 30,000 for beer & 20,000 for soft drink. No one caught squid. They told us at start in quick lesson how to do it then when... More

Easily the worst experience during my time in Vietnam. I booked the Sunset and Squid Fishing tour for my family of 5. The boat literally motored about a 1/2 mile outside the harbor then anchored. I thought at least we would motor along the beach to see the sights before anchoring. The guide, although pleasant enough, then started to pratlle... More

I had an enjoyable night of fishing and dinner with this tour company. The views from the boat at sunset were awesome and the food was really good! Very few of us managed to catch anything but John's can't really be blamed for that! Good value considering dinner is included!

I booked a snorkeling trip to the south of Phu Quoc with John's island tours. The service they provided is average. I write this comment because I fear it is a matter of time before a snorkeler hit by boat. Unless they can make sure that local people don't rush their motored boat across snorkeling site, they should stop providing... More

For the half day snorkeling trip you get picked up from the hotel. You get a big bottle of water and safety instructions. The local guide Thoi (Jerry) was very good and told us everything we needed to know about the trip. First we visited a pearl farm where you can do some shopping. Then we boarded a boat and... More

If you need a transfer to cambodia then do yourself a favour and ask around. These guys will not tell you the truth. It took nearly 12 hours to get from the island to Sihanoukville. 3.5 hours wait for another horrible, overcrowded mini bus. No organisation or information. Absolute nightmare!!!
