By the time i was on the island, it was absolutely forbidden to get into the park. Quite bad and sad. Some treks were proposed by agencies but they were not in the real NP which is located in the north/north-east of the island. The only way to have a glance at it was driving through the dirt road leading... More

No birds, no animals and too many 'rangers' on motor bikes! Billed as 'A walk in the National Forest' the 10 minutes or so on well trodden paths is certainly not worth the effort.

The road to get to the park is painful, even more than most other roads in Phu Quoc. Our tour guide walked us the first 600 metres and that was it! Boring!!! Do not waste your time. This is a joke.

We took a tour into the park to go kayaking on the river followed by a jungle walk. It was a fantastic day out, especially canoeing with no one else around and thick jungle along the riverbanks. We had a guide to take us on a short walk through the jungle which was impressive to see. The only downfalls were... More

My friend and I hired a private Xe Om for the day. The ride to the park was just as beautiful and relaxing as the park itself! We walked a couple of km in before turning around, there doesn't seem to be an end point. I highly recommend hiring a private rider for the day. Our hotel called up trust... More

Much of Phu Quoc is lush dense jungle as part of the national park. It's a little frustrating as you can happily drive around the fringes and even through it, but there's a distinct lack of hiking or biking paths or trails. I know Phu Quoc isn't that developed yet, but at some point in the future it would be... More

Nothing special to say about the national park. It's just a place to see, and absolutely nothing to do if you arrive here without guide. The plan is to build a walking trail to the top and build a viewpoint, I would really like to see that when it's finished. Because you should be able to watch the entire island... More

This place was beyond our expectation due to its beauty and wildness. It was very large so we wished we could have more time to explore every corner in this place. This part was the most beautiful part of Phu Quoc Island, where I could enjoy the beach view and the green nature. Upon the arrival, this place brought to... More

We went with our tourguide therefore we got to many interesting places. Since it was too large to discover; we did not have enough time. On our way, we enjoyed beautiful views and blue beaches. I felt like being Tazan-living in wild and having totally freedom. We rented a car so next time, I would try exploring by motorbike. The... More
