This is a nice stretch of beach from Duong Dong south till the inlet stops you from going any further. Golden sands in one part then black sand on another, generally reasonably clean, with lots of resorts and accommodation available. Ladies selling fresh fruit which is delicious, massages also available on the beach, also you can get a meal and... More

From Duong Dong town down the length of Long Beach there are hotels and more hotels. Some have good services on the beach and other have none. For myself i liked that I could sit and loaf on this beach with out being bothered much. Plus the water is warm and I would float up and down the beach taking... More

I thought Long Beach would be much larger and nicer, however it was a big letdown! They quarantine off the area you can swim in and although the water was calm the lagoon they blocked off was small and filled with local tourist. There was also trash in the water from the fishing boats and even a cockroach ew! Not... More

Stayed on the northern end of Long Beach. All in all, a decent looking beach that provides a great walk along the beach. At the southern end are a host of Pearl Farms, which cater to the tourist market. They are expensive, but save you the hassle of being sold inferior quality or fake pearls. These are some of the... In the main the beach is pretty good and in particular where the hotels and restaurants are located they are kept fairly clean and tidy. We stayed at the Paris Beach Resort and were extremely happy with our section of the beach. It was beautiful sand stretching out into the extremely warm waters. We did see plenty of other areas... It is a pity! Long beach has fine golden sands but the sea and beach is sooo...dirty! Standing at the beach side I can see all types of dirt flowing in the water, and gets flushed onshore and packed there. Empty bottles, cans, map, paper carton, plastic bags, all you can find in a normal dust bin is in the... More

this beach stretches a few kilometres. the water is clear and warm. most beachside hotels have their cabanas setup on beachfront to relax under an umbrella. great viewing for the sunset and a good stroll along either direction for lunch and a beer. plenty of massage beds to choose from

How can anyone seriously claim this place is beautiful, as some reviews do? I want to add my voice to the growing chorus of folks complaining about the trash on this beach. I've been visiting this beach for 8 years and it's fast getting worse. Yesterday I walked the length of the beach and was feeling nauseous by the end... More

Coming from Australia this has nothing on our beautiful beaches but as a tourist it is interesting to see coconut trees and there are plenty of little bars dotted along it. There isn't much sand so the beach sharply turns into ocean. There also isn't any shade unless you go to one of the bars, so we bought a drink... More

In patches where there are hotels / restaurants / guest houses the beach is nice and the perfect location for watching the sun set directly into the sea directly opposite. If you walk in either direction it doesn't take long to find lots of litter and rubbish, as well as the odd jellyfish washed up on shore. If you are... More
