The beach is nothing special and not very beautiful at all... Sand and some palms. Great. In Thailand or Australia you get much better beaches. There are a lot of jelly fishes in the water, even in the area from the stinger nets. Swimming is possible but I wouldn't recommend it. Pretty sad, cause there are a lot of hotels... More

The name really applies, as the beach is really really long, so if you think that you are going there, it depends on which part of the beach you are heading to! I would love to go back again, choose a nice resort that is relatively quiet and chill for the whole day. It is a nice place for sunsets,... More

The tip of Long Beach (for us) was the area where the night market meets the dock. There's some kind of pagoda or attraction at the top of the rock, but it was too congested for us to want to go. The tip is just amazingly dirty- trash, food scraps, oil slicks, etc. If you continue walking up the shore... More

This is the sight of enormous construction of both an Intercontinental Hotel and an Accord hotel and God only knows what else!

We took a walk along long beach from Moon Resort up to the northern end. Didn't notice as much pollution as many talk about but certainly there was too much litter and pipes expelling dirty water. The big hotels that are crammed along the beach easily have enough staff to do a 5 minute litter pick 1-3 times daily. And... More

Bai Truong (Long Beach) is nice to have seen, but it is not a beach where you should go. I've been there in low season, on the beach was to count the number of people on two hands. It is a very beautiful beach, the way there is also very beautiful. However, I noticed that there is much to see... More

Let me start by saying that I had rattled down a choice of 2 hotels in duong dong. One was on the beach ( cannot remember name) the other That I ended up booking set back up a small hill, it has great views and about 10 mins to beach. However, if I had known that the whole beach is... More

Lots of people. For a more relaxing beach, rent a motorbike and head north to Mango Bay - chill at the resort there and use their pool. Less people and great view.

We stayed at the Eden Resort. We are beach swimmers so we looked forward to this opportunity to swim in the sea. The sea is calm and agreeable enough but a minute after dipping into the sea, I started to feel prickings all over the body. This fact seems unknown and I've seen it mentioned nowhere. I don't know if... More

Long Beach is the largest beach on Phu Quoc. It is not the most beautiful, that award goes to Sao Beach, but Long Beach does have the most to do. It is located just North of Doung Dong Town and has plenty of beach front bungalows and bars and restaurants. It is crowded and at the time of my vacation... More
