No major qualms but not the best either. Nha Trang has much better beaches. Get a massage for sure and spend some time at the tiny restaurants for lunch.

Water is oily and there is a lot of rubbish and plastic floating around. Sand near the shore is also dirty. Waste water seems to flow into a lot of beach areas.

There are different sections of the beach and some parts are much cleaner than others. The stretch between Cassia Cottage and Rory's is the beast as the resorts try to keep their sections of the beach clean. It also has the best places to eat where you can sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy the beach. After... More

Our hotel was located at this beach. Even though most of the resorts are located here, the beach is nice and quiet. You can get a massage for a good price, enjoy a beer with some food, or eat incredibly fresh mango which is carried around by the old ladies. The ocean is quite rough, a welcome contrast with some... If you are planning on coming here in September, expect A LOT of rain. The ocean is rough and the beach is dirty... mainly because of the waves bringing in garbage. Not a lot of restaurants are open either. You can find a good deal on accommodations right now since it is low season. There isn't much to do now... More

This is a nice stretch of beach from Duong Dong south till the inlet stops you from going any further. Golden sands in one part then black sand on another, generally reasonably clean, with lots of resorts and accommodation available. Ladies selling fresh fruit which is delicious, massages also available on the beach, also you can get a meal and... More

From Duong Dong town down the length of Long Beach there are hotels and more hotels. Some have good services on the beach and other have none. For myself i liked that I could sit and loaf on this beach with out being bothered much. Plus the water is warm and I would float up and down the beach taking... More

I thought Long Beach would be much larger and nicer, however it was a big letdown! They quarantine off the area you can swim in and although the water was calm the lagoon they blocked off was small and filled with local tourist. There was also trash in the water from the fishing boats and even a cockroach ew! Not... More

Stayed on the northern end of Long Beach. All in all, a decent looking beach that provides a great walk along the beach. At the southern end are a host of Pearl Farms, which cater to the tourist market. They are expensive, but save you the hassle of being sold inferior quality or fake pearls. These are some of the...
