Gorgeous stretch of beach - great for longer beach walk or swimming. Can also buy food, drink, hire a hammock for a snooze too!

The beach is very clean with white sand. I saw many other guests took the tour to dive and discover Coral. Only challenge is the road leading to the beach, it is so bad. This can be improved by government attention

Difficult to get to but worth it in the end. Better to head towards the northern end of the beach as the southern end is becoming spoiled by over tourism and it shows in the rubbish left on the beach. This is a big problem all over Asia, not just Vietnam. Great beach for relaxing in the shade of the... More

We stayed at La Veranda which has a beach that is very nice but was not really impressed. We heard that Sao Beach was the most beautiful on the island and after a long journey trekking on a scooter, we finally made it! The beach is not packed with people, the sand cotton soft and white. The warm water was... More

Sadly, the beach is full pf garbagr and so is the dirt road leading to it. It is a pity as it could be such a paradise...

Great but crowded. Boat trip great but then we were only three on the boat. Meal on boat was really good. Have the sea urchins - heavenly.

Nice clean beach on the eastern side of the Island. Largely undeveloped and the water is clear and blue. The road is being developed down that way but still sections on goat tracks to negotiate to get there.

The beach is really beautiful. Its water is blue and very clean. We spent all the day there and we did jetski for 1 hour. It was really wonderful. Never forget :)

What a beach it turned out to be; clean, no garbage, crystal clear waters, great powdery white sand, etc...all easily explained by the absence of hotels on this beach. Only a few restaurants dot the beach. We hope it stays this way, but we're not holding our breath! Thia beach easily rivals the best beaches on an international scale: Cancun,... More
