Stopped in here for a spur of the moment full body massage and we were not disappointed. We had been quite concerned about walking into massage places off the street after reading some hit and miss stories and reviews - but we made a good choice in Home Base Spa. We paid 85,000 for a 1 hour Balinese massage and... More

My partner and I went to Home Base Spa in Seminyak today and got the luxury foot scrub. It was $12 AUD for an hour. It was amazing and the foot massage was the best. Just relaxed and people watched. Definently going back and might also get a facial next time too. Couples F 29 & M 38 Aussies

The Balinese massage was just OK, but several things let the spa down. Firstly there was no hot water, no air conditioning and no soothing music. Secondly there was the lound sound of pump or a motor running, interupted by the guys practicing their bad singing across the road. Many of the other spa's in the area are even worse!

Had three massages here all good and excellent value for money. Had a massage using hot honey and it was amazing and not sticky at all. Next time I visit Seminyak will definitely return here for a massage. Excellent value.

Wandered into this spa early and had a 90 min massage. I asked for a massage that was medium to hard pressure & I wasn't disappointed. The massage was amazing. Only downside was that I walked out smelling like curry & unfortunately wasn't able to go back to my villa for the rest of the day to have a shower.

The girls at Home Based Spa are very friendly and have the softest hands for all types of massage. The prices are very reasonable and everything is clean and hygienic. I had 3 full body massages over a 6 day period and felt very refreshed after each one. I thoroughly recommend the Home Based Spa to anyone looking for a... More

Don't waste your money on a fancy spa in Bali. This was a very clean and quiet spa. I didn't make a reservation, but walked up. Got the 90-minute balinese massage for $12. If I had been in the area longer, I would have gone back every day.

There are cheaper massages and more expensive massages in Bali - but this one was my favorite. We also tried Bali Spa and my $7 massage at Home Base beat that one hands down. Of course, if you're expecting a high class spa, look elsewhere. This is bare bones, basic, but clean, friendly, and worth it.
