Something to see, the beautiful views and lovely trees. The nice tea room near by is ok, and the people were helpful and happy to tell us about the history of the area.

We stayed in Somerset West and found this resrve to be worth a hike. Good place for nature lovers, only thing we didn't like was that the paths were not marked at all.

Nature is all around you, but you can enjoy a Picnic or visit the Restaurant, great walks can be taken and it feels great.

My first visit to the nature reserve and the hiking trails, well maintained and a huge choice helps to choose one to suit your fitness levels. The views of False bay and the mountains are exceptional and the huge variety of fynbos and bird life, make it a great place for photographers. The picnic area is very well kept and... More

It is always a pleasure to go to the Helderberg Nature reserve. The paths and accessibility of the scenery is tops. Its great value for money. Cant wait to attend their sundown concerts again.

Beautiful piece of nature, very nice location. At one point on the walk, behind the restaurant, there is a very good view. Even though natural, the land is quite big and very well kept as you come in by the main reception\restaurant are. The restaurant made good food and the curio was reasonably priced.

We go there all the time and belong to the fabulous Eco Rangers Club for our 5 year old son's sake and must say, Andreas Groenewald is an amazing inspiration to the children.
