We visit Lourensford on a very regular basis, although we no longer drink wine. There are many places of interest and opportunities to relax besides the wine tasting and cellar. There is the Coffee Roasting Company - very good freshly roasted coffee, the restaurant where we occasionally go for breakfast or lunch - good food and service, the cheesery, and... More

No other wine estate has created wines specifically to complement different varieties of chocolate. A delight for the palette!

The Sunday Market at Lourensford is a "must visit" for locals and tourists alike. The grounds of this most beautiful of farms are immaculate and in autumn even more breath taking. The market offers creative, interesting and delectable fare and the atmosphere is wonderful. Do visit the Art Gallery and quirky Art Studio as well. Then there is wine to... More

We life in the Helderberg. It is one of our favourite things to do on a beautiful day, to visit Lourensford Wine Estate. You are thinking "wine tasting" but let me tell you there is much more than wine tasting to do. If you visit on a Sunday, there is the Lourensford Harvest Market where you can browse wonderful products... More

With family and friends , I enjoyed my first visit to the Lourensford market on Sunday morning - starting with a great cup of fresh coffee & breakfast in the local coffee shop, then taking a walk thru the local market - offering loads of fantastic food stalls, as well as wine and beers - arts and crafts . We... More

Dine with 700 business associates and spouses in the middle of a very functional working winery situated on lovely grounds near Stellenbosch a short drive from Capetown. The dinner included a excellent filet mignon and the wines from the estate were very good. The setup for a large group is outstanding and is a great location for the final event... More

This is such an amazing venue, the trees, the mountain, the food. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Get some fresh local produce, find a beautiful tree to sit under and you are in heaven.

Been to lourenceford before for breakfast and yet again, even though it was fully booked, we had excellent and friendly service and delicious food! Can't fault the eggs benedict. Looking forward to my next visit already. The market was a surprise but great as it was under a shade and included a huge variety of craft, food and art work.... More

Ive been to a few markets in my time even the grand bazaar in Istanbul - the Lourensford market was a bit disappointing although found some brilliant silver jewelry designers. The clothing were a bit overpriced and some quality checking needs to be done. The grounds were lovely and ideal for a picnic and a day out but be warned... More
