Although fully booked, the host was very accommodating for 2 people. I ordered for starters mussels in creamysauce with pernod, how delicious. My partner had the chickenliver parfait, which was light and fluffy. The recommanded wines complimented the food to a t.

Looking at previous reviews I need to clarify this. There are various companies situated on the Lourensford farm, so you need to stop at these various areas if you want a complete taste experience.

We visited Lourensford Wine Estate for the Kamersvol Geskenke event and were blown away. Upon driving in, you are greeted by rich, fresh, flowing trees on either side of the road and landscaped gardens. Friendly staff, great tasting rose and awonderful experience. I want to get married there one day, thats for sure!

Just great relaxing to be had here. Beautiful, and relaxing and a play area for the kids. Open plan, so they can run outside while you sit and eat something. Loved it.
Everything was great! We had a very interesting wine tasing and they have lovely chocolates to compliment the wine. We had a wonderful afternoon at the estate. Their wines are lovely and I would recommend Lourensford to any tourist visiting South Africa. The estate also has a restuarant with a lovely menu.
