One of the best markets I've been too. Great layout. Lots of seating. Good mellow music. Excellent food stores. Interesting stalls. Superb setting. Highly recommended. Lots of easy parking.

I absolutely love this wine farm, perhaps more for the coffee than the wine :-) Seriously though, it's very relaxing. There are so many places where you can just sit down for a moment and rest. The restaurant is excellent every aspect and as I have mentioned about the coffee - it's really worth it! I visit the area at... More

The Harvest Market at Lourensford kicked off last month and I've been wanting to go and see what's it all about ever since. I finally got a chance last week Sunday. When we arrived at the estate, I was amazed by the beauty of the entire property. The atmosphere is simply amazing and the people are friendly. It's also nice... More

We stumbled upon this wonderful market by chance!! What a spot! Delicious food - everything from breads, pizza, pancakes, smoothies, smoked snoek, pastries etc- so much choice!! Then to drink- champagne, wine, cuppacino, Pimms etc. Wonderful live music, plenty of tables and benches. Buy your picnic lunch and sit on the lush grass under an oak tree - bliss!!! Wish... More

Worth the trip. The chocolate and wine tasting had us doing a repeat visit. The place is stunning. The coffee shop has good coffee and cake too.

Had the normal tasting and the chocolate and wine tasting and it was really good. Wine is sublime and the chocolates pair well with the wine. The service is also great!

We had heard all about Lourensford's famed Honey Liqueur and couldn't wait to try it. One of the largest and oldest wine estates in the Cape. Established circa 1700 Lourensford is a large estate that has horse riding and trout fishing. It also plays host to several top sporting competitions and large events. Because of its size it has a...
