We enjoyed a boat trip one Saturday lunchtime. The deli had some great choices and we selected a delicious picnic which was packed into a box complete with cutting board and knives. A lovely way to spend an hour on the Breede River. One can make up a picnic from the food on sale at the deli and take it on board with a bottle of wine or have a picnic lunch on the deck overlooking the river before or after the cruise. One can sit on the well-kept grassy bank of... More

Robertson area has a lot of wineries worth to be visited: a.o. Bon Courage,Springfield, van Loveren and Viljoensdrift. At the last estate you can make a boat trip on the Breede Rivier. Buy a bottle of wine, some snacks and enjoy the nice view of the river and surrounding area

Really amazing wines. Great value and great taste. The boat trip is good to do if you have time to waste and would like to picnic on the water instead on the deck. Reccommended.

Nice vineyard where you can pick pre-packed foods for your picnic such as olives, bread, cheese, choppie, smoked salmon, applewood smoked cheese and not forgetting the wine. When we visited it was +40 degrees, so we were a bit overwhelmed in the heat. We had to keep the wine for later. We were glad we didn't do the river tour... More

This wine farm offers an opportunity to enjoy a 1 hour river cruise with your own picnic basket. Upon arrival, we were able to choose the items for our picnic and a bottle of chilled sauvignon blanc. These items were prepared in a basket (with a cutting board etc) which was ready to collect just before we embarked and the... More
